Y’all remember the episode where it was like a battle of the sexes and Dwayne & Whitley wanted no part of it but they went to a rally together? One girl called Whitley out for holding hands with Dwayne and Whitley just went off all dramatically like “HE’S MY MAN and I’m standing by him!” I swear I laughed so hard, that’s one of my top 2 favorite Whitley moments 😂

She even asked the writers for a copy of the pilot script and used it as her template for creating Living Single.
