From our (the fans) childhood to growing up with these characters and actors and actresses and watching it grow, us grow and this show ended at the same time that we all actually started different chapters of our lives as well, whether it be finishing a new grade starting a new grade finishing middle school, or finishing high school, or going off to college ourselves, or starting our first job or another job, =truly, we were off to a different world or ending the one we knew and starting a new one. This reminds me off Boyz ll Men- 'it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday."

currently rewatching the show and i realized that dwayne was the best to whitley whenever they werent dating and he was pursuing her but when they were together he was sometimes an asshole to her like telling her that her voice is annoying and telling her to shut up which was rude at times and occassionally mocking her in front of their friends but beside that they were perfect together

Overall he was a very supportive boyfriend who still was a person she could talk to, he willingly gave money to her to go see her ex-boyfriend, he sold his computer to help pay her tuition that she blew off because she didn’t fully think things through with that party, he encouraged her to be more independent without putting her down like Julian did. As mentioned before, he had no problems waiting to have sex with her and told her he is willing to wait until she felt it was right. Even when married he ultimately bought the $3,000 painting and trusted Whitley’s judgment that she could make some profit off of it (though hey get robbed later), he ended up taking 3 jobs to help with their money problem which led to Whitley thinking he no longer was sexually attracted to her, he would also still take her out to expensive dinners despite not having much money to be spending. Dwayne overall was a very good man to Whitley
