I am a 2022 IIT BHU Graduate, I got laid off in June 2023, after that I have been unemployed from last 13 months. The current job market is so tough, I am struggling financially and emotionally, but yes I have made myself motivated in this job hunt, after many emotional breakdowns and so much struggles, I am still keeping my head up.
(I have applied to more than 2000 jobs, got 13 interviews, but didn't get any offer.)
I can tell you, If you will ask me after some years, I would still say, this was blessing in disguise, because the things I have learnt, experienced, the way I am still being hopeful is a great thing to have. Everyone has to face this phase, one day or another, Just keep your head up, face the struggles and keep learning from life.
So if anyone is facing the similar situation, please don't end your life, yes you will feel like ending it, but just think when you will be out ot this phase, how differently, gracefully you will live your remaining life.
Be hopeful.

Nahi me to Soch raha hu food truck ke bare me but Ghar Wale nahi man rahe. After seeing all this and being unemployed for more than a year but the peace is priceless.
I see my friends working 12 hour shifts and also have to work at home also, can't refuse or else you'll get replaced. Even then they barely save anything at all. What are your views or should I keep looking for job ?

I have also been in situation where my organizations forcedully made me quit,
But reading about our ancestors like Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Raani laxmi bai , Veer Savarkar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad helped me a lot, since these all people have been in worse situation that anyone can get into, still they faught , not for themself but for the nation.
I know it's tough to handle rejections and layoffs. But think sometimes knowing about history helps a lot 🙏🙏

Infact recently I've seen a recent graduate from NMMIS Mumbai (business analytics domain) didn't get any placement on campus.. Now she's looking for her job on linkdin even for salary ranges between (10-20)k... That's how tuff the job market right now

Hi, i can totally understand your situation, being in that situation. But trust me when i say, things happened when they are meant to be happened. Meanwhile you can try to explore other sectors as well. Jobs there are not that bad infact in some areas better than private jobs..
Job search is a very tiring process, you dont know how much time it gonna take it can take a month or even a year. To all those people who are struggling in this phase, please hold on, good things are coming in your way.. your qualifications will speak for you and you will surely get a job..
But please don't take drastic steps, because this is just a phase of life not worth giving up your life. After few years you will remember this time as one of the greatest learninh experience...

Bhaiya due to financial reason i took admission in 1st year through private form (distance learning)and due to that no assessment marks are provided and whereas 2nd and 3rd year year regular because of that i got 7.3agpa in overall graduation .... now I am confused whether to go for any average college or prepare for snap, cmat and cuet ....

@@creations8823 here's something you should consider while making any decision. Trying for a top B-school in India and getting into it automatically makes you financially stronger than 5 years of work-ex after an MBA from some avg college... If your family has invested so much in your studies ... Give yourself a chance to get into a great B school and have a better career compared to an avg school... (Keep in mind tho, just getting into a good B-school doesn't guarantee a secured job... U'll still have to work on yourself)

I don't think, iim jammu person died bcz of unemployment, police said that he was consuming ganja, taking drugs smoking etc.. With IIM tag, he could have tried something else... Teaching, lecturing, trying hard for another job.. But he just gave up.. And sad part is his wife also took her life by hearing his husband's news..

Me myself a bba graduate this month applied job for management trainee but didn't get job Fromm last 3 months .
