I really like this house considering that it's pretty close to London which is a priority for me and my wife and for the price it's fantastic and kinda cheap tbh, it offers a lot for the money. I would like to have more wardrobe space in the master bedroom and also appreciate cutouts in the showers and over the tub for soaps and shampoos as well as space next to the sinks for personal care products. A great layout with lots of space, and as always, a great video! Thank you both.

I would love to see some local tours of more affordable new builds in and around Maidstone in the £400-500,000 price range.

What a Brilliant and unique property I love the big tall window as you walk in that light is everything. Lovely drive way and entrance into the property. Visit Ashford, 30 mins away from Stratford and 38 mins away from St Pancras by train, there are loads of new modern apartment's and houses just built near the station or much bigger places at near by villages like Mersham, Canterbury is good too.
Also has the EuroStar so close to France as well as London depending on your journey.
I’m originally from Kent and the house reminds me of an oast house shape... you’ll probably find more similar ones across Kent.
I now live in Northern Ireland and for what we sold a 1 bedroom flat just outside Maidstone have bought a 4 bedroom detached house with large garden and sea views. When it’s COVID safe I suggest you head over Irish Sea as I think you’d be astounded what you can get for £1 million here in NI. Plus the incredible views. X

You guys should come to Portugal and tour some homes!! There are many huge developments and new builds along the coast and they’re amazing for you guys to check out... they’re also luxury properties similar to the more expensive ones that you tour

I know induction hobs seem to be really popular at the moment, but I'd always have gas over it. Cooking with a flame, just the way I was brought up.

Lots of barn & oast house conversions in Kent so I can see where the design idea is coming from. Aside from being overlooked & usual new build lack of outside space it’s not bad, price is fair for the area. I’d lose the white uPVC windows tho.

This has been on the market for a while, over priced as similar in the area for this plot size went for under 900k. Granted this looks better on your tour than on paper. But essentially this is a 4 bed house with a garage conversion. Kitchen isn't well thought out, bedrooms are average size. Although the downstairs living area looks nice I dont think this ticks enough boxes for the price. £850-875k would shift it.

@@gurujojo8992 yes this is very true. UK in particular suffers so bad from this. If you try and buy a normal 3 bed family home after spending 10x the national average wage and realise you can't fit a TV cabinet and a sofa in the living room. It is a joke. Obviously less apparent with these luxury houses, but my point here is the way the push prices up beyond the value. This is a nice house but compared to a normal 4 bed house at around 450k do you get 450k extra.... no way.
Love the high ceiling entrance.. agreed with Matt toilet shouldn't have wallpaper , the rooms could be bigger maybe but removing 1 room. Kitchen is not as big. They should remove the wall to make the space wider

Im round the corner from Maidstone, and there is a new up and coming development / new builds in Cliffe Woods (asquire developments) they are similar houses like this. Maybe worth a look!
