- In this episode we sail in the waters of Federated States of Micronesia and drop anchor in the wonderful atoll Woleai. That island turned out to be one of our favorite stops and we have never felt as welcome as we did there! The locals invite us to their talking-circles and one man show us that books can have different purposes. :)
We hope you’ll enjoy it!

That night time approach by an unknown vessel was pretty scary! I would dislike that intensely!

❤
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
beautiful video! Reminds me of my childhood on these sand bars. Beautiful indeed. hat off to you two.
Oh i know exactly what they're drinking. hehehe. This is so beautiful. Especially how the men gather around together and have a good island coconut "punch". Love how you both are open while also taking into consideration the other peoples' culture and tradition.
Hello guys, never stop sailing. Great idea using a bamboo whisker pole. I watched a video about a bamboo boat. The fibers are as strong as fiberglass, and renewable. Have you heard about Henery Ford’s Hemp car? Chech it out on CZcams. Again, stronger and cheaper than fiberglass. Stay safe. 👍👍👍

Thankyou for sharing this beautiful place with us. cheers from central Queensland Australia
At the beginning of this movie, you said you were sailing straight through from Ponapei to Yap and I was thinking, "Oh no! You are going to miss the most beautiful islands along the way!" I sailed through here in 1994 and we stopped at Puluwat and Lamotrek and it's so wonderful to see that little has changed. The men drinking grog from 3 o'clock, the women still topless and most of all, the people still happy! They were envious of us, but we were envious of them! I filmed on both islands, and when we arrived on Lamotrek and they heard I filmed on Puluwat, they wanted so desperately to see their relatives. They had a big clunky TV and a generator, and I plugged my hi-8 camera in and they watched that video over and over! Us women went to the ladies hut during the day and learned how to make the flower crowns and each day we helped our tipsy men, who had been in the mens hut, into the dinghy bedecked in flowers. Beautiful!
Wonderful vid. Very nice indeed. I love your kind and gentle way of describing islands and your way of talking very kindly about others. Ni är så trevliga. Tack så mycket för att Ni delar med Er.

Yes yes yes!!! Beautiful :-)
Damn I wish I knew how to sail. This looks fun. Love the channel y'all are awesome 😁
No worries mate, you need money to purches a boat, hang up the rags, and away you go. To stay afloat, dont bump into any thing bigger then you, inclusive reefs.
100% agree with you... yes indeed woleai is the most traditional island in micronesia.. from a marshall islander citizen.
Excellent video
Parabéns imagens muito lindas com uma boa edição .
Been missing you two.
Glad you guys made it okay
Vilken skatt att få så fina frukter i present! Verkligen, när man bor här uppe i kalla norden där motsvarande inte går att hitta och det som finns till buds aldrig kan vara sådär fräscht och färskt.
HOLA LISA HOLA OSKAR . EXCELENTE VIDEO . ESPERO ESTÉN BIEN , ME GUSTARÍA CONOCERLOS ALGÚN DÍA . LES MANDO UN ABRAZO . SALUDOS SU AMIGO MANUEL .

23:06/ The men are drinking tuba( coconut toddy)which is perhaps another indication that the ancestors of these people came from the Philippines.
Hey Guys . Always remember candy for the kids. A good is breaker, Works every time.. Sail safe. Søren S(Y Zenseb Denmark
hello from yap
I keep hearing that with electronic publishing, books will no longer be needed. Well, you've shown that is so untrue!
That's no drug smuggler... we don't have that type here... That could be my brother patrolling our ocean... or it could be an illigal fishing boat...
i like the guy translating the song in the men's house haha! i thought he was hitting on you until i heard the song:-)
As pretty as Lisa is, I'm guessing Oskar has to beat guys off with a stick.
my cousin thomas passed away two months ago... RIP brther
Hello from Sydney Australia. Loved this video. Yes often in the islands book paper, or newspaper for rolling cigarettes. Of course the tobacco etc is not healthy, but what is also bad is the smoking of this - with the inked papers. Quite bad. But, what can one do with such habits in many of the islands. A island of mine recently passed away - diagnosed with cancer - likely from smoking too many “home rolled” cigarettes. I have heard that the “kava” in many of the FSM islands is particularly strong, did you try it?

Heh, I think I would have been so shocked when they did that to those poor books.
we like rolling tobacco's in newspapers too. kinda stings your pipe when inhaling :-)
now I understand why they called Philippines dwellers as pacific islanders because it is so similar of this how they interact, the way they make social gathering with coconut wine and the way they show hospitality
???
