Anne, Cocoa makes us smile everyday, so I am so happy her running around on the sand at the lake shore made you smile. That was here at our local lake in one of the parks she and Tommy frequent. She was so happy to be home! Dena

If Tommy fusses about you buying cross stitch patterns, you tell him it's cheaper than therapy. lol 😄😄😄 Love sweet Cocoa, she may not always know it but thanks to y'all she is living her best life.
You are so right, to be able to shop at a needlework shop in person is such a rare treat for me. Tommy did not fuss at all about my shopping. I think he was happy I found so much I wanted since it was a gift from him. And, you are right again, Cocoa is living. her best life. We spoil her and she repays us with undying devotion and love. Crystal, my friend Donna has the Santa's House as well. We plan on starting it this coming Saturday at a stitching meet up. I hadn't planned on starting it any time soon, but when Donna said, are you ready to start it together, I was super keen to do so. LOL. Dena

Kathy, it was a lovely cabin. When we got there we thought the internet was broken because we could not connect to the WiFi and the TV would not work. My husband called the management company and they did some trouble shooting and then said they would have a service repairman come by. After they got off the phone, my hubby went looking at the router again and discovered way back in a closet that there was a plug unplugged. Someone had disconnected the entire system. He plugged it in and after a little bit of rebooting, we were in business. He called and explained that to the management company so no repair visit was needed, but it was the only problem we had at all, so it was a great experience. Dena
@halfstitchcrossstitch2456 Dena, so glad it was a quick & easy fix and that was the only issue! My friends & I have had some great experiences with rentals thru VRBO in a few different locations. It can def make or break a trip for sure! Happy your experience was also a good one!

Carolyn thank you so much for the kind compliments about my outfits. I love sweaters and this is definitely sweater weather. Most of them are very old, but since you only wear them a few times each year (during the cold season) they last. Fortunately! Donna has talked me into an unplanned start with her! What a nice vacation in a beautiful setting. Your trip to Annabellas was nice to see. What a nice shop! Your projects sure got some love. I like to switch projects quite often, but there are days when I just want to keep stitching on the same thing and see the progress. Cocoa digging in the sand was super cute! ❤

Awww. Waynesville! We lived there for four years many years ago. We loved it. Next time you are in Waynesville and are heading toward Lake Junaluska, look up on the hill at the red light and you should be able to see the Church of the Nazarene. My husband was pastor there when the church was built. I wish Annabelle’s was in town when we lived there. I would’ve probably frequented it more than I should have. Lol.

He has been retired for seven years. We are living in Newberry , Florida, which is 12 miles west of Gainesville Florida. When we left Waynesville, we pastored in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and then Archer, Florida.

TaMara, it was a delightful place and served us well. Cocoa claimed the Master Bed immediately for us. LOL. She was so good! Only played with her toys and didn't chew on anything, didn't have an accident and didn't wake us up at night barking at strange sounds so she earned her good travel badge for sure! Dena

Hi Dena, I have spent the afternoon catching up on your videos for January while I was stitching myself. Such a great afternoon. You have been so busy and lucky to go to a stitching store, that would be a delight for me. Very few in the UK and miles from me. You seem more busy this year with two daily bringo challenges. I look forward to seeing how this goes for you, I think it would be a bit too much changing projects for me. I have been more productive with joining WIPGO last year after watching you in previous years. Looking forward to watching you for another year x

During the Winter Months I mostly stay home. Where I live at we get really bad weather during the Winter Months. I am a home body person. I love staying home.

@@halfstitchcrossstitch2456 - Hi Dena - Oh okay - My area where I live at - We have gotten Rain - Sleet - Snow - High Winds and now Below Freezing Temps - We are at a -8 Below Zero Degrees F. We will be below Zero until Wednesday of this week plus Snow. We still had Church Services this morning but there was at least one Church that cancel their morning Services. Today is Sunday, January 14th. I have not been out of the house all day today. Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
Linda, I'd say you in one of those areas that I was concerned about. Please stay warm and safe! My hubby is heading to the grocery store for a few items as we are looking at very cold weather this week and I don't plan on getting out of the house much myself either. Dena

Had to laugh when you said you hadn’t showed your husband what you bought at Annabella’s. We don’t have a needlework shop near where we live so I order most of purchases. Yesterday I got 3 packages in the mail and Dan my husband said jokingly that the mailman appreciated me as I was job security for him. Lol. Glad you had a great vacation and got to shop at Annabella’s.
Lynn, since we don't have a needlework shop in Georgia, I order most of my supplies as well. It was such a treat to see and touch things before I bought them. I know my mailman by name for the same reason. LOL. Dena

I look forward to your videos every week. I have to say Deena you always look great i love the attention to detail you take in your wardrobe. But, and i say but in definitely not a derogatory view, But you look Fabulous in that off white sweater with i believe is a purple blouse. Your cardigan has a pattern, But!! You are just Lit Up!! You just Shine!! Just thought you should know. I always ask my husband of he likes my outfit and he always says Do you like it? I want to dress so my husband is proud of me when we walk down the street or into a restaurant. You definitely make your husband "proud " when you are together! I don't necessarily like the term proud I would much prefer Honored! As we should Honor our spouses. Long story short you look Fabulous in tbat cream Colored cardigan and purple blouse!!!

We did have a great trip. I stitched, walked with Cocoa a little, cooked our meals and relaxed. My hubby walked long walks with Cocoa all but one day (it rained) and he explored the lake area. We may return to that area again in the future. Dena
I love your projects and was wondering about the Erica Michael's berry that you are stitching. Does it have any 1 over 1 stitches? I have one of her patterns but when I examined it 😢discovered 1 over 1. . Happy stitching😊
