Your finishes are beautiful. The I am needleworker finish is stunning and the six cross stitch patterns finish you did with your own color conversion is beautiful. You did a great job choosing the colors because they truly convey spring. How fun and so lucky to have so many stitchy friends in the area. Oh, so fun! Keep having fun!
Cristine, thank you for the empathy for Cocoa. You'll be glad to hear she is all well now. The medication really helped. I really was pleased with I am a Needlesmith! I know I don't do all the fancy things, but I do feel I cross stitch okay and I am so thrilled with my framed pieces around the house. So I wanted that to be a statement piece. I think it fits the bill. Dena

Such beautiful finishes on your 6 pieces. I love the way they're framed. Queen of Hearts is beautiful, and she will sure sparkle with beads. Congrats on your finish of Autumn in the Country. Just Nan has such great designs. Cocoa is super cute in her new clothes. I like the large size but probably because I love stripes lol. What's important is that one will fit without chafing her belly, but keep that area from her messing with it. ❤ Take care, happy stitching.

Hi Glo! I am pushing 13th Colony, Part 2 closer and closer to a finish and then I can start Part 3 (another unplanned start for 2024). I am also getting closer and closer to finishing Halloween Quaker which is awesome as I have already started Spring Quaker. I hope to stitch some this morning before our friends arrive on 13th Colony to complete a big section of water. We shall see. Hope you are still loving your new start! Dena

Fun video. Cocoa looks cute, I'm sure the meds will work soon. We had put a Large T-shirt on one of our Labs, front legs through the arm holes, covered his belly, and tied the excess fabric in a knot on top of him, near his back end, easier for him to take care of business.
Yes, I don't like having to take Cocoa's halfway off her for her to go outside for her business. Glad that is over with. Dena

I liked the pink one best by a wide margin, but it was XL and was hanging on her. Didn't provide much protection from her licking her sore spot on her belly. However, she is much better now, almost completely healed. So hopefully, the onsie is a thing of the past. LOL. Dena

I always look forward to your videos. We have clothes and coats for our dog, and my so has done some stitching on them with the sewing machine because he’s a big boy. He 95+ pounds an American Staffordshire terrier mixed with cane corso mastiff. He’s a big boy! We found because he’s an indoor dog, he doesn’t put on a winter coat and he’s cold, he will pull my throw blankets off the couch and cover himself with them. I love the outfits for your Cocoa!
Valerie, you do have a big boy!!! Cocoa seems to stay pretty warm, it is mainly when we take her walking and the temperature is below 40 that we put a jacket on her. Dena
You do such beautiful work . I really enjoy your floss tube and wishing Coco a speedy recovery. And yes, please tell your groomer your experience and suffering. The Coco is going through they need to be aware, especially if they had a new groomer work with her. You can request the groomer you want when you call and make her appointment. Just like we do with our hairdressers lol Coco so well behaved and she’s so adorable!
We do request the same groomer, but she has a history of working somewhere a short while and leaving there over some mishap or other so I am fearful she left and they didn't tell us. I will find out before her next groom visit. Dena
Oh, Dina..your framed pieces are gorgeous..I actually sighed over the I Am A Needlesmith ! Everything about those colors are "me" so , it's on my To Buy list now. Oh, Cocoa..so cute in her sweaters. It has been 5 years since we lost our two old girls and I've been keeping my eyes ...and my heart!...open for a new family member. Our boxes to check are different now that we are older BUT, a friend who lost her mom needed to find a good home for her pooch (his very first person also passed away so poor guy had two homes in his 5 years). She wanted so badly to keep him but one of her dogs just would not accept him. SO, I now have a little "chiweenie" named Zeus. Never had a small dog before but I am finding out that little warm body on my lap is pretty dang nice! He's settling in well, but it was minus 23 degrees when I got him, he could barely put his little feet on the ground, had no clue what a puppy pad was for...I wondered at first! He's good now that it has warmed back up ....and I put my address on his new collar so I guess he's staying!
Lynn, sometimes we are gifted the animal we need (who also needs us). I went to a friend's house to stitch this past Thursday and she has a tiny dog (about 8 pounds) named Stella. Stella likes to sit in the chair with you while you stitch and she chose to sit with me Thursday. I enjoyed having her next to me and when she got too hot, she wouldn't move, she just panted until she cooled down. LOL. My friend said Stella refuses to move because I was petting her. LOL. Cocoa was very curious when I got home and she smelled Stella on my clothes. You would have thought I had been unfaithful to her. LOL. Dena

Jeannie, you are so kind about the more frequent posts! I have gotten lots of progress because I was working on some prompts requiring 300 stitches rather than the 100 for the BRINGO and BINGO. Also, I was identifying small goals on my Year of WIP pieces to push them on towards their finishes. Glad you liked seeing the progress! Dena

Beautiful framed pieces! Looking forward to seeing the autumn piece framed. How cute is Cocoa in her onsie!! I think the pink one looked more comfortable on her even though it appeared slightly big. Maybe after you wash and dry it might shrink a bit.
Diane, I liked the pink one better just because it was prettier to me. She is all healed up now so no more onsie requirements. I am also looking forward to the framing of Autumn in the Country. It will be about 2 weeks I am thinking before it is ready. Dena

Susan, I really am blessed to have Mindi working at Hobby Lobby. She has a passion for putting the right mats and frames together to show off the cross stitch. She knows I don't care if it matches my household decor because the stitching is the decor. LOL. Dena

Cindy, the time was shorter between videos this time because I keep getting an hour's worth of clips so quickly due to BRINGO and BINGO. But both are completed now and I can get into a more normal rhythm of stitching. Dena

Oh the framing is perfect for your stitching! That’s how I had mums amid amish life when I stitched it for her. Oh beautiful Dena!❤ oh my heavens! They are all fantastic! The fabric for autumn is awesome. Is it the same as the stitch one you got framed for hallway? I am doing my first 1 over 1 on 32 and can do the stitching no problem but hard reading the chart for separation of the letters, getting it but whew. Yea this is my second time stitching on linen Nd this over 1, I can’t imagine those doing samplers with 1 over 1 on 46 ! Omg she looks hilarious! Too cute. Can’t imagine Allie allowing it.

I am a member of the Magazine Monthly Challenge Facebook group that has challenges (BRINGO for instance) and a member of 24 Hours of Cross Stitch Facebook group that has an acrostic and the 24 hour stitching marathon each quarter. They are open groups and you could join in anytime. Dena

Ann, I do not know how to knit so I didn't knit the sweater. You are the second person to ask me that though so it must look like a hand knit sweater. I think that is awesome.
