I do believe Cocoa is happiest outside with her Dad on a "walk" or "hike" as we sometimes call it. She especially loves it when she can be let off leash and can run ahead like this. Dena

The Autumn in the Country was DMC except for one overdid which was a beautiful variegated over dyed cotton. The beads came with the pattern when I was gifted it a few years ago. Dena

Judy, it was so surreal. We had not seen each other in person since last Christmas in 22 and we made a special plan to get together in January right after Christmas in 23. She loved her Raggedy Ann gift I made for her so much. We laughed and shared a wonderful day together and then on Thursday I got a text at 11:15 p.m. that she was in the ER and that her hubby was fearful she had had a stroke. I prayed all night for her. So grateful she is doing so well. Thank you for your kind thoughts and for your prayers for her. Dena

TaMara, glad you like the frame on Autumn in the Country! My friend Cheryl has come home from the rehab hospital a week early and is adjusting well to being at home. She did have a minor set back when she was moving too quickly in the kitchen and fell, but she is fine. The physical therapist had warned her to slow down (she walks and moves very fast normally) and to place her left foot very deliberately, or she could have it give way and make her fall (which is what happened). But no permanent damage and it was a good reminder to follow the instructions she said. Anyway, thank you so much for your prayers. Dena
Dena...thanks for all your lovely updates...will certainly be praying for your friend...I have had three strokes in 1989...there is life after strokes...the number one goal is not to have any more...the problem that caused the strokes has to be identified...I have had good doctors and I am thankful for them...strokes are a silent killer...so it pays to be following your doctors advice for your health...Cocoa's romping around is delightful to watch...best wishes❤❤
Loretta, thank you for sharing with me that there is life after strokes. my friend said hers may have been caused by her cholesterol (which has been borderline high but no one prescribed anything to bring it down). So now she will explore that with her physician. Dena

There will be a total of four on that green fabric, then four on a different blue fabric, and four on a different grey fabric. They will all be similar but slightly different. Same dyer. Dena

Oh Dena, I was so sorry to hear about your friend. Life is precious and we have no idea from one minute to the next what is waiting for us.
In 2012 I left to make a quick run to the grocery. I was not gone more than 45 minutes. In that short amount of time my husband had a severe stroke. He spent the next 2 years of his life in a nursing home.
I have prayed for your friend that she continues to improve.

Oh the frame looks fantastic on Autumn! Your little girl is adorable and Christmas girl is sweet. Your teal green sweater is beautiful . Oh Autumn in the village is beautiful. Well, lol not too in order today as lost my comment as lol I was ironing and then allie got on the bed and she was pawing her snout said hey close to the edge and off she fell hit her head on the side of chair. She was okay but I shut the tablet and lost my comment partway. Told her at 11.5 shes not to do acrobatics. She was never allowed on our bed till this house as is only wi dow she can see out of , has to guard her front yard you know, right Coco? Oh no Dena! That is so sad for your friend! Thank heavens she is doing okay. Definitely makes you think of your own mortality as well.hugs to you, prayers to her. Bye for now.❤

I have short arms so I can reach well all the way to the top on the 10 inch bars (I have tried 12 inch and they are too long for me to reach comfortably). Do you stitch with the rolafrane in your lap or do you use a Lowry or similar stand?
I use a floor stand at home (Elan) and a lap stand on the table top when I am at retreats, stitching away from the house (Elan as well). Dena
