- Fishing for coho in October after the rain. First week back from a long trip and found some beautiful bright cohos. Where are the hatchery fish? Come and see if I can catch one to take home.

I so enjoy your videos. You explain things so well and your attitude towards fishing and catching/releasing fish is calming and exciting at the same time. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Thank you for encouraging words. Love it.
Halé, so glad your back posting these awesome fishing videos! Welcome back brother.
Much thanks for your support and comments. 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Nice job Hale. Glad you are back. A couple of fun days on the water with lots of fun memories. Fish on buddy. See you on the water.
Thanks T. See you out there soon.
Nice work! Thanks for posting. Those are some great looking spinners!
The most popular and favorite for most locals.
Good morning, I’m Canh , can I go fishing with you some next week? I like to learn more fishing 🎣
I have a lot of request from people to go fishing. I have a busy schedule but I am flattered you chose me. If I started going out with people randomly, I would get many more requests which will be too overwhelming. Hope my videos help to get you started on your outdoor adventures. Thank you.
Thank you for that Hale!! It's almost Crab season here in Calif. I hope to be able to get my partner to go this year! They sere messed up all our plans when they closed the inshore fishing!!
Are they opening crab season on schedule this year?
Just noticed you are nearing 2.5 subscribers. Awesome.
Slowly but surely. Challenge is editing and posting as I do everything from scratch. LOL 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Great video buddy 🇺🇸
Thank you for the comment. Always appreciate them.
Just moved to Grants Pass this year. Looking forward to finding where the Coho are
Southern Oregon has some great fisheries I hear. I've never fished that far south but what works for me is looking for hatchery rivers and you'll find them. Good luck.
Catching bass and coho on the same day sounds like a lot of fun. What river were you fishing?
Willamette R smallies.
I have to start packing Flying Cs when I go bass fishing now!
😂too funny. I don't know why they are so attracted to the spinner. You think it's the time of season where they are trying to get ready for winter?
Welcome back!
Looks like we've rolled out the cold wet weather for your return!
Nice work Hale'
How much longer do you think it will be decent to try there?
I hope to be out crab snaring in the next few weeks.
Nice to be back. Rain and cold only means that it stirs up the fish. LOL
Is this b run coho or something? I thought the coho were already up the hatchery
My guess is that these coho still have a ways to go up to there spawning grounds.
You just posted this video great! Exactly what day was this?
First week of October after a couple days of rain. Guessing around the 8th.
What fishing line where u using ?
20lb mainline braid. Check out the description for the rest of the gear I use. Thanks for the watching.
where is this place boss. are they still have bass around the bank?
Willamette R smallies.
Not a whole lot of hatcheries willing to bite this year.
Hatchery fish is harder to find in the past few years. I had a feeling I was going to get into some wild fish being it was early October already. Still fun to get them to bite on a spinner. Nothing like that instant stop and head shakes right after.
@@BackFishing oh for sure I was out there at the end of Setember and got onto to several very nice chrome fish.
Every single one was a native but still so much fun to catch.
@@SoloAngling I bet those were going over the falls my guess.
whaaaat i wanna go with ya
LOL...super chrome fish but mostly natives. Wish I can get a keeper. Thanks 🤙🏽🤙🏽
@@BackFishing I just be happy with the bass honestly! You should look up these videos of guys fishing for coho with pink bass lures. Senkos, flukes, and top water! Maybe try that out for something different! I have pink flukes I’ve been saving in my backpack for situations like this
@@tbejpkid97 Maybe your right about the pink. They always seem to hit that flying C. LOL
