Absolutely should have the same care. This is terrible. I hope this changes for their community.

The golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rules, and everybody else is out in the cold. Sad sad...

Interesting. I live one County South. Lots of changes being proposed in that area. The town of Moffat (the highway west of Baca) is also trying to change their name to "Kush".

this community would also be able to apply for more state and federal grants for nearly everything they would need. You cannot do that the this current structure.

An example that even in a totally free market there will be haves and have nots. I guess conservative economic principles aren't true after all.

That makes no sense. You are confusing conservative economic principles with socialist economic principles. The haves and have not, are a natural outgrowth of a chaotic natural order. Conservative principals bring a bit of parameters to the chaos, allowing any have not to become a have, or any have to become a have not, based on their own merit, tenacity, work, and network.

A POA in Crestone? That ruins all the spirituality of the Baca.

Shame on you RMPBS. You did not do your homework. There's more behind this and you failed to find it leaving this as nothing more than a fluff piece.

This place is ripe for a huge fire that will return it to its natural state.

If more people live in the trailers than the chalets then run for a board position. Seems more like people who just want to complain instead of doing something and that's backed by the fact that because so little people participate in the voting they can't legally change the governing rules of the POA.

Its all one big plan! Time to get rid of those electorates! Let's make it The Common Vote. ONLY THEN WILL IT BE CONSIDERED HONEST AND FAIR!!

the problem is that POA wont be able to afford any major infrastructure items and the community misses out on state and federal grants by not being incorporated. Theres soo much left on the table when 5 people tell everyone else how to live using their own dues. When you pay money into a municipality theres accountability and opportunity provided you'll never even see within this POA structure.

Americans are too individualistic, each of them is looking for benefits only for himself and everyone thinks that this is normal.
In addition, this place was chosen randomly, without taking into account urban planning.
