hey man, I enjoy your videos, the skyrim ones are usless to me as I played it for thousands of hours and already know it all but your darksouls 2 guides have been the biggest help to me on my ds2 journey, please keep up the good work you make amazing helpfull content
Agreed about heavy and light armor. The only real reason to use light armor would be either wind walker benefitting archers more or the unique light armor sets having the rare muffle effect. Also the dark brotherhood armor having the double sneak melee damage effect on their gloves is useful too.
You’re the most knowledgeable person I’ve seen on the Skyrim combat system, I wish to learn everything you know. Thank you for making these videos, please don’t stop
A small mathematical nuance I want to point out with bladesman and armsman: the earlier perks are more effective than the later ones. Imagine a weapon that deals 10 base damage. Rank one will increase the damage to 12. 12/10=1.2, a 20% increase just as it reads. However, rank 5 will increase the damage from 18 to 20. 20/18≈1.111, that's only an 11% increase in damage for the price of that last perk point. For ranks 1-5, here are the approximate percentile improvements: 20%,~17%,~14%,~12%,~11%. Every perk is still good and worth eventually grabbing, but maybe also consider getting other worthwhile perks before the next rank, even if it's already available.
Bro, you revived my will to play Skyrim again and I am having a blast right now playing as a two hander dude. Thanks to you! Can you maybe do some race Tier List in the future? I was googling the shit out of myself before starting as an orc. I was considering High elf aswell (cause of body height/movement speed) but then learned, that orc is just slightly smaller and has some stagger resist advantage beside of his nice daily power. But I would love to hear your opinion on this matter (Didn't find the onformation elsewhere on your vids) But keep up the good work! Love your content! ❤
hey bro i just watched all 3 videos and i just wanted to say a massive thank you, im pkaying skyrim for the first time ever and this was really helpful. i have a question though, it seems if i time my single handed mace attack with the enemies attack he does a parry attack? is that a thing or am i imagining it? also what triggers the cinematic kill?
Well enemies can block with their weapons as well as bash while blocking. This will stagger you if its a couter to your attack. The kill cam animation is triggerd when fighting humans, bandis forsworns silver hands etc. Also Dragons. The kill will happen when your health falls below their max attack hit. (Power attack). I cover more about combat in my deadic artifact ranking video.
The fact that this is the second youtube account that has made that comment means it is the right time. If people are watching and leaving comments then it is not to late.
You gotta make more guides man, so straight to the point and easy to understand
