This Ryobi Airstrike 18ga 18v brad nailer seems to be one of the most popular Ryobi tools ever fall into DIYers hands. There are ladies who do craft work like building bird houses and guys who just want to talk about this very popular Ryobi tool all over CZcams. And I like it!

Thank you for the very helpful information. I am also a Ryobi fan, and at 72, prefer to work smarter, not harder. I already have a set of helpful Ryobi tools and find them a good weight and size for my little old lady hands. I am planning to build a faux beam mantel cover and decided that pounding in the nails by hand was not going to be very entertaining, so purchased the nailer - good luck to me... 😱

If you are up for it, would enjoy another video that talks more about that. For example, what setting is good for door trim or finishing work, etc.. Thank you!

I'm a beginning DIYer, kitchen is almost done (complete remodel), living room has been scraped, painted... Just got done laying my laminate floor and I'm replacing all trim and moulding as well. I purchased pretty much all Ryobi tools (aside from my DeWalt miter saw) because I didn't want to spend a ton and hate DIYing.
Well, come to find out I love it... And I'd still replace tools with Ryobi. Lol
Already told hubby that a table saw is next. He just shook his head. 😂😂

I bought the newer model w/ charger + 2x 3.5 amp batteries. I started using it and experienced very poor performance, failure to shoot nails with any consistency. Batteries are fully charged. Changed batteries and got better results, which suggests that one of the batteries is not locking in place. I could not figure out what the smaller trigger does ... seemed like a safety, but clearly it is not. Your tutorial is excellent. Meanwhile, Ryobi warranty and contact is abysmal difficult to access and impossible to create a Login account ! I bought through Amazon and cannot return the unit. I am going to give it another try today, otherwise, I will try to return it at Home Depot, but I expect that might be a problem too. Any thoughts ?
