I would've stepped down too. If you can't make an executive decision as an executive, then you are in a position in name only and just a figurehead to be used by the powers that be. Magic is a business owner and a multi millionaire, so he didn't need the check or the headache, so why would he stay? Plus to allow Rob Pelinka (the world's worst GM) to undermine his boss' position with no repercussions, made magic lose faith in ownership which demanded his immediate departure. It's just alarming that the management won't let Magic do his job or do what he wants for the team and have people like Rob waiting for him to step down. How can you have a great working environment and a great team with that kind of management. I mean Magic wasn't a good GM but Rob is even worst. At least Magic has the charisma and reputation to lure good players to join the team, he just need to make wiser decisions and learn when to not talk.
