- In this video we build an Overpowered quick-drawing Gunslinger for Survival Difficulty. Played on the most recent version of Fallout 4 with all DLC installed. No mods were installed during the playthrough and the build was played entirely on Survival Difficulty.

Sanctuary, Scrap Everything, Kill vermin, Put SPECIAL book into endurance, Build 3 water purifiers + 2 power stations, empty Aid items from workshop (this will refill with Purified water later on), Level up with wooden shelves [OP goes to lvl15], Build and ride Pommel Horse for Agility boost

Pass bridge to DC, turn left, take out rocker super mutant from a distance, follow along the water until red boat and look out for Old North Church [OP is level 20 at this point]
Enter the code “Railroad” to complete The Freedom Trail, meet the gang, take the job
Mass Fusion Building, take out gunners, beware of commander in power armour - take him out with Critical, Strength Bobblehead
Good Neighbour (behind Mass Fusion), KL-E-O, purchase Shipment of Ballistic Fiber (pay with ammo from Mass Fusion)
Meat Deacon to progress Railroad questline, take Back Door, U.S. Covert ops Manual, get The Deliverer 10mm replacement and upgrade it
Next Railroad Mission, Bunker Hill, after talking to High Rise head upstairs for Guns and Bullets Magazine, complete Boston After Dark
Speak to P.A.M in Railroad HQ for establishing a Safe House mission
Next P.A.M mission: DIA cache
Now speaking to Tinker Tom will unlock Ballistic Weave
Head home and put on Military Fatigues, upgrade with Ballistic Weave
(optional) damage test by taking out Swan

(optional) sleep to save before crit killing Elder Maxson on The Prydwen airship, take his Battlecoat and dive deep into the water to get away, upgrade with Ballistic Weave for a good looking 140 DR / 90 ER / PER +1 armour
Nuka World Transit Station, save crits to kill Commander Kaylor, travel to Nuka World
Proceed with quest, use Jet to run the last stretch until Cola-Cars Arena, defeat Overboss Colter
Dry Rock Gulch, use VATS on bloodworms, talk to One-Eyed Ike for Western Revolver, upgrade with Gun Nut 4 / Gun Slinger 4 for 326 damage

I recently bought this game because of the show, currently following your sniper build and having a blast with it.
Will probably follow this build when I get bored with the sniper (can take a while), but some map locations in the video would've been really nice especially for new players like me.

for red rocket, if you go straight to the workshop and start scrapping, THEN pick up Dogmeat, you avoid the molerats.

Thanks. Just needed some info. Played the game twice but didn't really vlick till 3rd run. This is 4th and it's booming. Used some points. Now i have the deliverer plus bobblehead plus revolver in the bunker. Not got the agility and luck (I placed points in percetion instead of costitution, so no acqua boy for me). Got a funny build, atm I'm level 20 and give 3 shots to supermutants with the 10mm pistol (now i have deliverer, same music but much better). Thanks for the Build. It's the 1st time i really enjoy FO4. Ty

Right after you loot the root cellar in sanctuary you can climb the tree that has fallen on the roof of the same house and theres a duffle bag on the roof with a cheeky bit of loot in

Just found an explosive .44 revolver on my newest playthrough (lvl 11) and now this blesses my homepage.
If you haven't found Eleanor yet, you really need to. She's going to be your best source of ammo for a while.
For the shelf building bit I recommend duping the wood as the only thing you're saving is time

Hey Fevvy, I got a challenge/unusual build idea for you if you're up for it.
Since PA torsos have a stealth boy modification, it's theoretically possible to make a functioning sneak/power armor build.
I think it'd be a fun little challenge to have to wear a gigantic refrigerator and STILL being the sneakiest thing alive.
I did some preliminary testing and the concept can actually work (provided you have the Stealth boy modification for the PA torso, the US covert operations magazines and the sneak bobblehead found at the FMS North Star) and it's a surprisingly fun and diverse build with either a focus on sniping or close range engagement
Equipment would probably be whatever power armor of your choice (though I have heard that there are certain paints that increase agility and as such improve your sneaking by a flat amount) and either the overseer's guardian / last minute and a backup pistol like the deliverer (your choice)
A big thing to look out for is chems like overdrive (25% damage and crit) Calmex silk (flat 2x crit multiplier) and the most important:
Jet.
Jet will literally elevate the build to a new level of fun as you can now click heads at your leisure and the fun of seeing heads pop is definitely an experience that makes this build even more fun, if you can, get ultra jet, with all ranks of chemist you get 45 seconds of slowed time and that is more than enough to clear out most enemies.
If you can't get ultra jet, then regular jet will do just fine, though you will miss out on a +100 base AP
Some stuff to look out for but is not needed is Ace Operator for more damage when using silencers and Pack Alpha for that juicy -25% damage taken
This build is unorthodox, but holy hell is it fun to play, and the mental image of being this swole mf managing to be THIS sneaky tickles me pink.

I’m not gonna lie, the little dinosaur with the different emotes and props is my favorite part of your videos. Do you use him as a placeholder for you or is he more like a mascot to you? I’ve always wondered that and if he has a name or if it’s just Fevvy.
One of my favorite Fallout 4 builds is a gunslinger build. It is crazy how op you get so early on...
Just wish they had more pistol options. New Vegas has so many great handguns to choose from with each one feeling different, in fo4 your primary viable options are the .44 magnum or the western revolver, which feel and look nearly the same. The Deliverer is cool too but doesn’t fit a gunslinger build. I did get a Never Ending .44 Magnum drop which is cool, but that’s just RNG.

I made up a character called Pistol Pete precisely for this sort of thing. I don't stop shelving until 14 though. The Noir Penthouse and Neon Flats CC have good pistols. Early game Eleanor and Cricket are it for .44 ammo as far as I can tell. The Gainer is only okay IMO. The righteous authority does make a decent pistol too. The plasma weapons are almost deliverer level. If you need oodles of energy damage there's also the Alien option.
The Alien blaster is honestly such a cool weapon, I really should do a build with it
You can do way more dmg with the deliverer by upgrading your stealth traits. Since it has a silencer it is considered a stealth weapon

It has probably been mentioned already, but beware of VATS after the next gen updated. I play vanilla with no mods and miss 75% of my VATS attacks, even if it says 95% chance to hit. The % will randomly jump from 95% to 0% as well. I haven’t seen Bethesda acknowledge the bug, but it is well known on FO4 boards now.
