Sailing to Catalina Island from San Diego with my son Peter and enjoying a breathtaking sunset as we pulled into Avalon is the highlight of this weeks episode. Seeing the Night Lights of Avalon from the water was also a bonus for me. This is part 1 of a two part series of taking our boat from San Diego to Ventura for our son to help with a few repairs we are having done to our Catalina 30. He should be happy that it's an Atomic 4! Extremely reliable, cheaper fuel, 30 hp, I wish my boat still had its Atomic 4, a previous owner took it out.
