I tested up watching this, all of these actors/actresses are so inspirational and really are the change, as Amita and Jessie were saying. Leigh did an extraordinary job at portraying diversity and creating a worldwide phenomenon with such unbelievably talented people to portray these characters.
Amita as a reader is absolutely me as a reader 🤣🤣🤣 having watched this video after I binged the show, I can definitely say that you guys have all done a brilliant job and I loved every bit of it!
@@JuliaJiggs for one thing, don't make people feel like idiots. for another thing, yeah the ending was ambiguous, but it definitely left the door open for both of them to work through & overcome their trauma. so i feel like after the book ended, that's totally plausible for them to get together, and be a couple.
@@kamanda42 Oh I totally believe they can overcome their trauma and one day be a couple, but it’s not likely within the timeframe of the show or even another book. I think leaving it up to our imagination and just assuming they work things out when they’re older is better than scraping out so much of the main plot for that kind of arc
I agree a lot with what Leigh said around 17:13 because the addition of the Crows and then some other changes (that obviously neede to happen) made it all more exciting because we know the story, but we don't know THIS one.
After reading and watching the show I’m so proud of leigh creation, Erics adaptation/ creation , and the entires cast impeccable performance. I truly hope we get a season 2 and more crows
I'm so proud of all the cast members. Amita is truly an inspiration for me. I know I'm more privileged than her but chasing your dreams is always scary and sometimes it feels pointless to even try but she showed us to never give up. I hope she knows how much it means for us.

i haven’t read the books and i only started watching the series cause i was bored so i didn’t really mind any of the details at all. and i really didn’t notice that kaz had a cane until it was brought up in a dialogue. like, freddy made it look so natural that i didn’t even think there was something unnatural about kaz at all!

The first season only follows Shadow and Bone, so since Nikolai appears in Siege and Storm, we have to wait until Season 2 to see him in our screens 😊 Also they have come up with prequel stories for the Crows, so they could fit into the Shadow and Bone timeline. That's why we see them before the heist in Six of Crows, and also why it's possible for them to see the Shadow Fold 😊😍
Nina, Matthias and Zoya are all in the show currently, but since this is only the first season and it only covers the first book (shadow and bone) characters like Nikolai and Wylan won’t be introduced till later. The crows also have like a new plot that we haven’t seen from the books to incorporate them in S&B
i think they’ll probably still call him the Darkling eventually, but if I remember right he went under an alias at the beginning. Plus, for new people The Darkling is a pretty incriminating name lol so I think that it’s likely when Alina reaches the little palace or he’s revealed to be the villain he is - that’s when they’ll switch to that name??? i think??? i hope anyways lmao
