After watching the whole series it’s amazing how far Amy socially developed. Sheldon behaviour was just his nature but Amy’s was a mixture of having an overbearing mother who isolated and controlled her as well as not fitting in at school for being a nerd. By the end of the series she was still quirky and smart but she was way less socially awkward

Sheldon's mom was a treasure to the show every time she made an appearance. Honestly the best quest star on the TBBT. I love how she was sweet as pie, even if she said did not say the PC thing. But she care for her Shelly and also his friends like they were own. Plus she was always one step ahead of every one even if they were geniuses.
