After so many people adding caramel to their honey, not using a strainer and just dumping the ingredients in fizzy water (seriously why would that be the logical choice to someone for cola) I have found the perfect video to send to friends and family.

Same here bro! After drinking 10 years sparkling water, I had to switch to normal one because of medical issues (gastritis) and now, after like 5 years, I can't drink it anymore...but I can dunk bottles of soda like nothing...

CHEFPK Hey Chef, im currently making your cheese cake sandwiches and Iâm at the stage where I have to cook the cheese cake batter but I donât have a thermometer anymore. How long would I have to cook the batter on how high of a heat to make sure I donât under/over cook it? Any help would be great. Love the videos man. from several other videos trying out the Senku soda i will admit your has the best color and look. definitely agree that muddling the ingredients before hand then straining into the soda water is what the show missed out on explaining.

Same swiss miss hot chocolate isn't really that high quality of a mix. But its association with my mom and that feeling of warmth insures its place as a favourite of mine.

Tried this personally myself, and even though I had to add multiple spoonfuls of sugar to the cup to get it to taste right, it ended up tasting like a flat sprite after it all! it was pretty crazy how close it is to an actual soft drink!
You added sugar instead of more honey?
You're first mistake was adding sugar since it had had honey. Sugar doesn't quite blend well with honey.

Seeing that cilantro and lime juice mix reminded me of a Thai dipping sauce. Adding dry crush chilli, fish sauce and roasted crushed uncooked rice will make a nice dipping sauce for grilled pork collar, North Eastern Thai style.

I just made it, and it definitely doesn't taste like coca-cola if that's what you were expecting. It has a sweet earthy taste, with hints of lemon and cilantro. It is an excellent beverage that is really refreshing, though next time I might use a tad-less amount of honey. This would go great with rum!
I thought it was going crazy! The flavor youâre describing is most likely Tamarind, it tastes a lot like Jarritoâs Tamarind flavor soda

I love all of the stuff that you do on this channel so much. It is also nice to see a professional chef watch Food Wars and enjoy it. I know so many people that don't like the show due to the "unrealistic reactions" to food. The fact that you also make some of the food from various shows just to try them and see if they actually work as real dishes is a blast to not only watch, but also makes me want to do the same. @@CHEFPKR Technically it's Sangria flavored and non-alcoholic, just ask for it at any Mexican market, it shouldn't be that hard to find otherwise I don't really know where else to find other than Mexico

I see what you did there with the Gerudo Valley background music
tried it
instead using honey im using palm sugar (caramelized), have a bit of problem during caramelization due to sugar nature really want to solidify really quickly and made a mess. A bit of advice, if you dont have honey you can use palm sugar just like i did but dont caramelized it. Instead caramelizing it, dillute it using hot water since palm sugar already a caramelized product. Also be generous with the sweetener try it first before pouring to soda water. Mine become too tangy because the ratio between lime and dilluted palm sugar was off.

PS : if you using glass container to mix dilluted palm sugar and the lime juice, make sure the glass was prepared first ( pour relatively hot water in it and swirl around) to avoid thermal shock that can be lead to dangerous situation.

So I just made this as well since you made it look so easy lol and it really is freaking good. I also paired with different alcohol I had around the house and Malibu Coconut Rum is by far the best pairing most likely because of the lime and cilantro but itâs was so good

I grew up in bataknese culture long enough to know about "Sarsaparila Soda; Badak Brand" from Siantar.
(Notes: It's fresher and tastier version of root beer. Paired up nicely with char siu fried rice.)

you can muddle the greens with some granulated sugar (the one with the big crystals, I'm not sure how it is called in English). It makes the job a lot easier, because the sugar crystals are abrasive to the leaves/peels. It also extracts a lot more of the citrus oil from the peels.
regular sugar works wonder's too, + the sugar get's infused with the taste of whatever it was used as an abrasive for, pretty nifty trick if you like drinks like mojito's, just add in sugar & mint leaves and muddle away = mint sugar
