    The way Karen describes Hikaru's wild facial expressions and speech as being strange and over-the-top is absolutely HILARIOUS! She even imitates him with her own facial expression and hands..."His lips are going way out, neeeoww, neeoww". Please, give me a break...LOL!!! 😜 I also agree with her about Hikaru's false claim of being "dragged in" to the lawsuit. Ben's right that his rating going down somewhat especially with the tournaments he was playing doesn't really mean anything, and Karen's right that Hikaru pointing that out is an implication that he was cheating (or at least an implication that the accusation is plausible). It seems obvious from Hikaru's last statements that Hans being an OTB cheater had been talked about among other players whether there was evidence of it or not. I think it's poor form for Magnus to have put all this in the open through his actions unless he had concrete evidence Hans cheated in that game. Approaching FIDE to do an analysis of Hans' OTB games, advocating for tighter security, etc. were more reasonable alternatives.

    • @merluzacongelada5361
      @merluzacongelada5361 Před 8 měsíci +1

      No one seems to remember this but the first person who talked about Hans being a cheating sus in public was in fact Hikaru, not Magnus. All Magnus did at first was withdrawing from the tournament and staying silent for weeks. By the time he finally broke the silence, everybody was talking about Hans cheating anyway.

      bud so did 1000s of other titled players. Its Ironic that you probably follow a bunch of streamers that literally sandbag for a living teaching kids manipulating ratings is more important than competitive matchups. You are talking about online gaming where the anonymity immediately loses it respect because the perception is everyone cheats . And someone who cheated as a kid years ago and wasn't suspected of doing so since is not as detrimental to the sport as Magnus pulling back the curtain which exposed and confirmed the corruption and politcs that goes on in the background. Its makes one wonder if Fischer wasn't crazy after all especially when all the st louis chess commentators, except for Maurice, literally publicly admitted they use to prearrange draws in their otb careers. Yasser actually said it was hard for him to stop, but hey thats ok right? From the moment Magnus decided not to play the world championship he was sticking a fork in Chess's future and keeps doing so while you applaud him. Hans is just a product of his environment and now a victim and your criticism is misdirected.

    We can't hear what hikaru is saying!! The "strange" woman with long black hair kept laughing and commenting on how "strange" hikaru looks.

      For a second there I thought you were talking about sandbagging hikaru. You know...the guy who literally is sacntioned by the website to CHEAT for a living while calling it education. HIkaru was Hans hero, in fact is was proven Hikaru was one of the few GM's there is no suspicion Hans cheated against. Hikaru literally breeds thousands of cheating sociopaths everyday. The Only thing he is educating kids on is how to manipulate ratings and use anonymous accounts. . Which is the reason online gaming in general has never been respected for 30 years. And you want to demonize a kid who cheated years ago, when 1000s of other titled player did too? You got your priorities mixed up man. The corruption Magnus exposed in the chess industry is way worse than anything Hans can do. And now Hikaru is here literally calling for more corruption and chaos as if he wants tournaments organized like its lord of the flies. This is wild. FIDE really should have immediately punished Magnus but they didn't. RIP Chess.
