    ➡️ About Ayutthaya
Ayutthaya is the ancient capital of Thailand. At the height of the city’s influence, it was one of the biggest and wealthiest cities in East Asia, and its size and wealth in the 17th century rivaled that of Paris.
The city was founded by King Ramathibodi I in 1351 and served as the seat of the powerful Ayutthaya kingdom until it was destroyed by the Burmese Army in 1767 - yet much of this striking city remains intact and stunningly preserved.
Ayutthaya Historical Park became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 and is frequently considered a must-see attraction for visitors to Thailand.
    ➡️ How to Visit Ayutthaya
    - Guided Tour: For solo travelers, the best way to explore Ayutthaya is on a guided tour which is generally 7 hours long and includes your pick up and drop from Bangkok. The tour includes your entry fees to the sites, an experienced guide to tell you about the temples and the history, and lunch after the sightseeing as well.
    - Rental Car/Scooty: Renting a scooty or car is best as you get the luxury of time and flexibility. The only drawback is that you won't learn much about sites as you would on a guided tour.
    - Public Transportation: You can reach Ayutthaya using local buses and train network as well but this is a long journey. It will easily take you 2 hours to reach the ancient city and then exploring around the city would become difficult as there are not a lot of options available.
➡️ Entry Fees and Tour Costs
    - Fees for Temples: 50 Baht per temple
    - Fees for the Entire Complex: 220 Baht per person
    - Guided Tour Cost: 1500 - 2000 Baht per person
