Isn't it tragic that probably one of the greatest concerts ever put on that we're watching here is just superstar after superstar that's been taken from the world. This concert sums up a golden era for music and it's an era that I'm sure won't be repeated.

Anyone else thought George Michael and Queen were a good match? They worked well together... seamlessly. I would have liked to hear more of them together.
Laura Guerra The band had to change the key for most of the singers in this tribute, including George, because they couldn't hit Freddie's high notes.
SANDRA BROWN well 39 was actually in this key anyway when Freddie performed it (I think you already know the original key of this song is a semitone higher and Brian sings it)
George Michael what an unforgettable presence he had. RIP George you were a brilliant musician. This concert proved George was not just a one dimensional pop act.

Ok. So I know Bowie was/is a national treasure in the UK, but am I the only one who thinks "The Lords Prayer" during Live Aid and Freddie Mercury's tribute concert after he died from AIDS was inappropriate? I don't know what he was going for? Did he think the crowd would chime in like they do for all of Queens songs? Not so much. A christian prayer at a tribute for a man who wasn't christian and on top of that, christianity condemns Freddies lifestyle seems odd to me. Or is it just me?

Not sure. The crowd seemed to love it right after Bowie finished. I feel like every artist that night was allowed a lot of freedom, and that was part of Bowie’s part of the concert.
