Hello. The Kyosho 14x2 dirt oval was the motor for this car. I had it on my very 1st electric Tamiya TA03 F Pro and was so disappointed about the top speed. Why? Was it the wrong motor, or is this 14 x 2 motor so slow, just a little faster as a 21 turn. I never understood this and now I see the car for this motor here for the very 1st time. What does dirt oval need? Torque ? Is the 14 x 2 suited for your car ? Many thanks for a question not answered for 20 years.

The motor definitely has a lot of torque with minimal top end. I'll try and do speed run some day and figure out how fast it goes.

@@steelcityrc133 that's the 20x2, so the 14x2 even has more high spee. Well mystery solved: Mega Motors from Kyosho had no strong elements inside. So the should have never sold me the dirt oval as a twen showing interest in speed. I suppose it wss a question of money but he could have convinced me to buy a better one.
