You, sir, are a genius! I am addicted to your logic and ingenuity. I have no idea why you don’t have a million subs-seriously. My brother has a 1996 Ford transport vehicle that has been converted to a motorhome. It is primarily wood inside. There is a good video on The Weather Channel now about mold removal. Short story, "Bleach only burns mold, it does not kill or remove it." "An anti-microbial is needed to kill the mold." There are commercial anti-microbials. If you only want to burn the mold, vinegar is far safer to use than bleach. Hand sanitizer is an example of an anti-microbial. Love your videos. We put reflectix bubble on the windows oversize piece attached with Velcro with a space between the window and the refletix. We have a toyhauler so we added a large long piece on the door near the bed. All the reflectix do not go all the way to the floor. We read on a bog to add a space between your mattress and the bed frame because your mattress will get moldy. We decided on the wool army blanket and we have traveled to alaska & Canada lots of snow, wet, the wool blanket has done the job and we added raino coating to the aluminum floor. It was bare aluminum floor .Our toyhauler is made of all aluminum floor, walls & roof. So we added a layer of coating to the roof and the foor and this has made our rv a lot warmer and if all possible use electric heater. I have problems with mold.

Fortunately my channel is so small that no one sends me free stuff to review which keeps me from leaning towards a product (but I do like free stuff!). I am living in my camper in the mountains and winter is the best challenge to try out new ideas and products. I have a mid size dehumidifier coming in the mail that I hope will be just the right size for me. Should be a fun video. The heater video will be a tough one to make. There are some very passionate Buddy Heater people that will not like it so it will have to be meticulously done and that takes a lot of time. Just stumbled on ur channel, wow wealth of knowledge! Living in a high humidity area, house with no heat, my best weapons are good ol Vinegar, ceiling fans, & a dehumidifier that naturally doubles as a heat source too! Bleach has never worked for long for me. Wood albeit painted, sealed, vanished is always the weak point i have to keep eye on. Now going to try using lil or no real wood in van! That must be a real challenge with not having heat. I have been researching humidifiers for several months and have not found the perfect one yet. I have one coming that might work well but need to test it out. I am looking for the most efficient, compact unit that offers the best value in removing 1 gallon of water from the air.The number are very interesting. The paint I have used on the wood is an acrylic paint. I have noticed that water based paints don't do a good job of keeping mold off but strangely have not had any trouble with the acrylic. I think that is a good idea to do a non-wood van. Thanks for your informational post and for watching!
DampRid may be helpful as well. Is low cost and easy to replace. Comes in small packets that can be placed in your bins, behind/under sofa.

@@timdillen please please please make some videos on dehumidifiers! I have experience with damp rid in 3 big containers and havnt had any luck with them. They do absorb moisture to a degree..but my windows are still literally drenched every morning. They be good alongside a proper ventilation system or dehumidifier though..
I'd love to see a video by you where you redirect the cars AC to the leisure battery and not the cars so it's quite.. instead of installing a vent system to the car (or in my case the wagon) But not sure if there would still be a way to have an exhaust vent in my car. As the AC will just draw in and circulate old air.. my wagon windows are frameless too so I can't hook up any weather shields which would've been way easier 😢
Now I'm looking into a budget humidifier that uses little amps or two small vent systems in my roof... But here in Australia everything is way to fucking expensive.

Have you tried one of the small electric dehumidifiers? I live in Florida and I have a camper van I use for weekend trips. While the van is parked, I keep the dehumidifier running 24/7. It works great and you would not believe the water it removes. Mine is similar to this one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072C3NMK1 (I doubt its very energy efficient so shore power is the only time I use it.)
I have been working on that exact project for about 6 months and have not found the perfect solution yet. I like those units for their size and price. I am trying to find an alternative that is compressor based but very compact and not expensive and fairly quiet. I think I have found one that will work but have not received it yet. If I like it I will do a video on it. It should fit well in a small space, remove lots of water (gallons/day) and use 150 - 250 watts so definitely will be when plugged in to shore power.
