Thanks, had a bunch of these for years and some other kinds where the thing gets hammered in to expand the bottom by collapsing the stem. I was just about to do that and I took a look at what i had and thought that just doesn't seem to be the case with these. LOL so i looked this up. looks much easier. mail box will be up in a few now. LOL great video. Thanks.
I think that these anchors should not be used in areas subject to freeze-thaw cycles. In those conditions a threaded rod anchor secures with epoxy or acrylic adhesive is a better choice.
I was provided these type of bolts for a project, but the flooring I'm drilling into is wood. I realize the structure will not be as solid, but is there a type of replacement bolt that you could recommend for wood flooring? Thanks very much
Institutional finish at base, a better way is to drill four inches down beneath post and install a one inch pipe (gavanised), into it using rockite and keeping it plumb until it drys,no more than 30 inches up from slab, put de upright leeve over that install railings tuit...fill with concrete to top instal cap, which may have a solar light. If yo like or deco cap,or plain square champered.

Chris Hubley Depending on the application epoxy may be the better choice. Wedge anchors should not be used in all applications all the time.

Great sell! Explained
I don’t understand the table. The anchor diameter and space needed are the same all the way down so what difference does the minimum embedment make?
for the purpose of fixing the interlock tiles my iron rod clothes stand was removed. I can use the same method right? to reinstal it...
...I think, the can be re-used; use a cement epoxy for a better bond.

the anchor spacing of the pedestals in the beginning of the video don't look like 10 diameter spacing.
Gary Newman they are.
Hi, are these removable with ease by turning anti clockwise or not?
For removable anchors, better to use concrete screw like this one www.adit.org.il/portfolio-item/thdex/
@solomonii0 that s why the concrete screw is the right option for removable anchor
Ooo
