It's real hard when you broke.
or buy parts little by little
LOL definitely
+luis _ I built mine for about 300, the only time you need to get really expensive is if you're trying to run new games on ultra settings or you're doing a crazy amount of multitasking
***** console are more expensive take into account how many $60 games you buy every year + have to pay to play online. while pc playing online is free, theres always sales on steam, humblebudle, steam keys and even free games. Heck I bought fallout 4 for $37 on the first day it came out.
Not really you can build a Budget build and still outperform a Console.
Welcome to the cool nerd club. 👊
Builds a PC, wears PS1 console shirt. Oh the irony :D
Hey guys, this is Austin!
Yeah! Austin
Austin,i think it would be cool making an app for all the tech youtubers and for the community to be able to' comunicate with you guys...just an idea tho love both your channels
dont take this the wrong way but i think it would really compliment your face shape better if you went with more hair on top and short sides i know its random but trus girls will love u
I just don't know what cables go where.
James L watch Austin build guides and only watch the cableiing part a couple times a day
If you read the motherboard manual, it will tell you what goes where.
It's almost impossible to screw up, because almost all of the connectors are all keyed (the only ones that aren't are power/reset/indicator leads, and the manual will tell you clearly where those go). Of course, it's better to read the manual and understand what you are doing rather than just connect things willy-nilly, but the latter usually still works :p. I've had more trouble with IKEA furniture than putting together computers.
@@flyingfish555 I love your comment! :0
It is easy when you have a tech nerd helping you, but building one on your own is actually pretty hard if you are new to this stuff
BcwZoo i spent 4 hours. Pretty average for building a pc.
Ive been studying more in depth about computer parts since august and now I find it easy. the hardest part in my opinion is finding compatible parts, but building it is easy.
Im afraid of not building it but compatible parts as 1st acc because you dont want to spent all that money for nothing.
just go to pc paart picker for parts
The hardest thing when you build a gaming pc is MONEY
fr
Reason why i haven't even built a budget pc. Intel i7 for 26k inr(india).
by some used parts it will save u a lot of money
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) if i buy a used pc, it would cost me half a new i7 or i5 processor
+Tech Suheef Same.
What I did was first just make the basic computer without a GPU.Then a few months later added a GTX 1060.
Specs
i5-6500
GTX 1060
8GB DDR4-2133
Its as easy as putting Lego bricks together... Really goddamn expensive Lego bricks (Worth it though!)
***** I beg to differ. I love the PC I put together in March. Although to each their own not for everyone I guess.
but infinitely more worth than legos
Not expensive at all the build they arale building is what you call a "Budget"
+Babyhippo Gaming specs?
***** I meant expensive compared to the price of Legos.
I really want to build a gaming PC!
Phoebe Daltrey same here
than build it!
Buy the shit and trow it in a case and DONE!
Hahah I'm saving up for it!
built a 2.5k $ gaming pc recently
Travis Eddy Nice, I'm jealous haha
most important was installation of cables that you guys didnt show
Sudarshan what about the thermal paste? Because it just magically appears
like for real, the cooler just appears! I NEED INFORMATION also my cooler is just a tad bit bigger (ALOT)
but the RAM is just clicking them in in the right order (A,B,A,B)
Mine is up and running by the way!! the best feeling when i started Skyrim and it said : running at best :D
Marco I'm late, but it's the Intel stock cooler so thermal paste would be pre-applied.
Damn. When did Austin get muscles
Just noticed great eyes dude or dudette
After all his videos with @tldtoday, he couldn't help it.
He's still a small nerd.

Great now I just need the fucking money 😂 rip
same lels
You can build pc's for $350 that perform as well or better than current gen consoles. Less if you go used. $500-600 will get you a pc that can run any game 1080p at very high/ultra settings 60fps+
false^ My $2000 PC can only run Wicher 3 at 130 FPS Max. A 500-600 dollar PC would run it at maybe 15 fps MAX.
I know, I was talking about VR, and EXTREMILY intensive games. Witcher 3 is the most GPU and CPU intensive game on the market.
Amen! Got to love the PC community :D
I want to build a pc but im broke as fuck
I will try my luck with the giveaway
buy used and refurbished... Nothing wrong with that.
where can i buy refurbished???
Shikese New egg, Ebay, Craigslist, local classified ads.
Same
i3....bruh
With a dual core and four threads. Your point?
The 480 is overkill for the tiny i3
Why? If somebody wants to max out 1080p 60 fps 480 is a great choice.
Umberto LaMatta the is can easily stand a 1060 psh
Umberto LaMatta no its not
i3 with a 480? I have an i5 6500 and a GTX 1060. The 480 is overkill for that baby i3.
Buffalo Q who gives a shit?
Hans Orlich took the words right out of my mouth
o
It isn't a bottlenecker you know. Stop taking bottlenecks too far.
I have very similar, an i5 6600k and gtx 1060.
Thanks for making this vid, i loved how you were anxious to build a computer until you actually built it. Good job, keep making more awesome vids like this! :)
Congrats on 700k subs
Can you reply.
No
Thanks!

you made it sound so simple to build! thanks this will help me a lot in the future!
Two of my favourite CZcamsrs on the same screen
so easy but so expensive haha
Its really not that easy as they made it seem i have built 2 conputer over 1k its not hard but its not hey you just put that in now plug this and that in there you go it takes alot of time. And expensive not really you can get a decent pc with used parts for under 500 will it be as good as one over a grand no but you get what you pay for
You can make a NEW pc under $500 easy. a $500 pc could get you very high settings at 1080p. It's easy to build a pc, and fast, people just like to take their time.
$500 and very high settings? On which game? Minecraft?
ρυηρυη Clearly you know nothing about computers.
pcpartpicker.com/list/MXL7Cy
1080p high(very high or ultra in most games) settings in gta online, so pretty damn good.
Windows 10 for $30 off kinguin www.kinguin.net/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=windows+10
Nice keyboard and mouse bundle for $30 off amazon(it even has led's and stuff.....) www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Devastator-II-SGB-3030-KKMF1-US/dp/B01CDYAF28/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1477418634&sr=8-2&keywords=cm+storm+bundle
load the windows 10 installer onto a usb stick and install windows with that. bam, you have a pc that can play any game at high settings at least for years to come.
$60 over the $500 budget, but I did splurge a bit......
You were saying something? :/ This took 5 minutes, so you really need to look this stuff up before commenting random bullshit.
Bashir Wada Maybe a not even a 50 fps averahe at high settings at 1080p I have a cousin with that build.
Man, im lost. I tried building my pc this weekend and spend 2 whole days and it doesnt even work. I am going to hire someone to do it for me now. Only a red light on the motherboard, fans worked 1st start. Tried everything and asked on multiple tech forum. Its harder than I thought.
Soap Cutter This helps alot. Im not 12 and all parts should work well together, I checked. I did the whole build again and ended up with the same problem, now I'm benching it and I hope to find out whats wrong.
There are like 1001 different problems that cause a red light on the mobo so its hard to figure out. And its not the case ofc.
a great start to figuring it out is to list your parts that you purchased. also is their anything on the display? can you boot to windows?
volkswagenginetta I hear the fans spinning but no BIOS on display, tried different monitors.
GenghisDong
so it sounds like a cpu issue or a memory issue. how many ram sticks do you have? if more then 1 try just using 1 dimm instead. switch to the other. if its not that try removing the cmos battery on the mobo and putting it back in. if that doesnt work try taking the cpu out and inspect for bent pins. if not resocket it and try to see if it turns on.
Congrats on 1 mil!
I have the same case! Right on! Oh and you were great in The Get Down
Did anyone else think UaC knew how to build a pc already? lol
Same, he just uses Mac the whole time
to have a tech channel with 700k subs..wtf
Haha never needed to til now.
+UrAvgConsumer Better late than never 👍
not really...
As someone that love tech and building things with your own hands, my dream is to one day build a PC, but I currently can't afford the necessary parts to build it myself. Sad face.
sooo the question is when plugging the cords up, will everything be labeld, when you start the operating system do you need to plug in some thing special
who wouldnt want it. but congrats to whoever did or does win this sweet rig
"hmm it can't be that hard"
*tries*
"i have so much respect for people who do this all the time"
Legend says Jud will respond if he sees this comment!
The legends don't lie!

He does!
+UrAvgConsumer yes finally the rumor is true
+UrAvgConsumer hi can u respond to me too
+Joomy rip
Can you guys tell me if my PC build is good? Here is the list of parts
*Video Starts*
"Uh not that hard as long as you do it right."
*Credits Roll*
Vid showed up on my recommended video section, subbed.
good job buddy. love your channel! good luck everybody for the giveaway
I'm just gonna get my friend to do it 😂😂
dude fuck off I'm not gonna build your computer. How did you even know I'll be watching this vid?
I RAISED YOU BETTER THAN THIS GEOFFREY YOU ARE GROUNDED. SOMETIMES I CANT HANDLE BEING YOUR MOTHER
Geoffrey, oh my god! You said to me that you are PC expert. I'm not your gf anymore!
You deserve a like and subscribe... Keep it up! hope you get 1million subs!! 😃😄😀
GREAT video enjoyed watching this pc build 😀
Good Job Bro!
do it with GTX 1080!
with that i3 that 1080 wouldn't work. shit would bottleneck so hard
really? I used i3 and is it gonna bottleneck with 1080? it's skylake tho, they said skylake will not bottleneck since the performance is not really that low
wont really be that noticeable tho
+Nano its better than a i5 2500k
No noticeable bottleneck. I have a 1080 myself but with a non-k 6700 running a 28" 4k monitor.
LMAO EVERYONE here acting like they have 0 money
dat boiio cause we don't ,fuckoutta here
“Acting”
Philip McKenna we do lol
Finally a person who wears his watch on the right hand Thank you Austin
My two favorite tech channels standing right next to each other
What? No anti-static precautions?
WOW really no one else didn't notice he didn't show how to install the RAM
if you know how to put the gpu in I'd assume you already know how to put the ram.
ram is easy.
Ram is one of the hardest task possible. If you don't insert the ram, the PC doesn't work.
Smashing Ryan it's like, the easiest to install along with the GPU and the storage. Imho, Cpu and the CPU cooler are the hardest to install.
Smashing Ryan
You literally snap it in lol
Good first gaming PC man. Congrats.
I3 with rx 480 I just love how balanced this build is 😱

if you have it keep using it. unless you can purchase everything for about 350 bucks i wouldnt bother. the 1070 is a better value and the fx-4300 doesnt make sense for its pricelpoint. you can go on ebay and pick up a computer with an i3-3220 for about 120 bucks and it would do similar in performance as that processor. you would have to purchase a new power supply, storage (or just add to it for instance adding an ssd for a boot drive then using whatever it came with for storage.
no
the CPU is really bad, and 960 is pretty old.
I just built my pc and nothing works :')
You did something wrong. Just hire someone from game shop and they will build it for you.
ByTheTimeYouHaveFinishedReadingMyLongUsernameIHaveTakenYourBagel well at least you probably did well
I can't build crap with Lego
No wait my bagel
I’m going to build a PC for Christmas! I’d rather first learn how to build then just buying a prebuilt one. Building a gaming pc or any pc is a great experience! I can’t wait to learn about it.
I am building one! ordered some parts!
i feel like this cpu is going to be a bottleneck
Same
It will be in most AAA games....
It's better than i5 2500k
+Alec Shern what? what does that mean?
+the one random guy 1 triple A titles. Aka mainstream games. Witcher 3, battlefield, grand theft auto etc.
Is Intel i3 and a GeForce 750ti enough to play mine craft decently...?
Easily
this is b8 right?
+TheCannabisCorner no, I'm building a computer for my younger sibling and making sure my parts were ok :)
GOOD NUF
i got an i3 4160 and GTX 750 TI and Minecraft runs damn fine! I get like 500+ FPS. I could even play GTA V but the only problem is that I only have 4 GB RAM. So make sure you get 8 and above. :)
love the channel keep up the great work
Haha at the beginning when Austin is explaining the parts the other guy is just nodding lol
I would have changed the i3 to an i5
hello. I'm an artist and I am looking into building a music PC but I have not a clue about it or what to buy. does anyone have a list of parts I can use to build it? my budget is around $500 and under.
pcpartpicker..com is going to be your friend.
By music producer, you mean music production right? Well if so then your pic doesn't have to be at all demanding, just shop around for a latest generation (6xxx) i3 or i5 cpu and an equivalent cheap motherboard with the features your looking for ----- pic part picker is great. Next for your ram your simply gonna need between 8 to 16gb of ram but I would recommend 16. Next get your self a cheap but capable graphics card, a Nvidia GTX 950 or GTX 750TI or even an mad RX 460 should all do you fine, just choose what's cheapest and best for you. Next i would recommend a good sound card just shop around for something in the $50-$70 range. For storage go for a 1TB or higher western digital blue or black hard drive and a 128gb ssd for your operating system and sound programs but save your music to the 1tb hard drive. Next use A online PSU CALCULATORS -- just search google to find an estimate of the power your gonna need. Once done buy a PSU with around 50-100w higher from either EVGA or corsair
+SuperArjun90 finally buy a case of your liking that can fit the size of your motherboard I.e ATX etc and check the internal dimensions to make sure it fits your graphics card and your good to go.
Also a correction mad---- "AMD"
Are you seriously asking? Question number one: Do you know what Reddit is? I'll take some time to help you out.
2:15 this is Austin and today we have a new video!
I have this case, it's a really nice case, psu hidden underneath and plenty of room to hide the cables
pcpartpicker.com/list/WGJvf8 what would be the best motherboard for this build? preferably under 100
Your build looks good but there's somethings that need to be improved...
Firstly, you need ddr4 ram not ddr3.
Secondly, you should look at getting an ssd then you can install your operating system on it.
And for a motherboard I'm not from the US but you should look at getting a z170 motherboard but make sure it will fit in your case!
Get ddr4 ram, change the 1060 for an rx 480, look onto adding an ssd and if you're not going with an i5 6600k do not get a z170 motherboard because you don't need one.
+Lucas Spag what motherboard would be good for ddr4 ram and the cpu I'm using
+Nico Rodriguez get an h170 motherboard with an lga 1151 socket. That's it, anyone would work, but with your case you need a micro atx motherboard
+Lucas Spag how about for atx?
pcpartpicker.com/list/
I could use some advice on my parts if anyone would like to help lol.
Any advice on better parts or cheaper ones? Would like to get PC cheap as possible as I have to pay for a monitor also. I was going to get a GTX 970 however the 1060 turned out to be almost the same price
You need to copy/paste the permalink so others can see your build, not the url link
pcpartpicker.com/list/sjRyKZ
Looks pretty good to me
Would you consider the 1060 to be overkill though? its quite expensive lol
What are you planning to play and at 1080p or higher?
As someone who has played on console for my whole life until last year when I got a laptop, playing at 200+ fps on max settings on Minecraft compared to my laptop which has minecraft running at 40-60 fps on low settings its a huge jump from a laptop to a gaming pc
I built my first one last week. Fun then scary then fun over and over again :)
Here is my PC build:
CPU: Intel Core I5 6600k
GPU: GTX 1060
Storage:1TB HHD
RAM: 16GB DDR4
How much wattage should my PSU be
450-500 watt power supply should be fine. Put your PC parts together in a list on pcpartpicker and it'll tell you the estimated wattage the PC will use.
Thanks, this website is so useful.
No, i would do at-least 600 to be save
I would say a minimum of 500W. it's always better to have too much than too little
I went with 600w to be on the safe side.
Best budget pc of August 2016 (450$)~:
CPU:AMD ATHLON X4 860k
GPU:ATI RADEON RX 470
RAM:8GB Kingston (Dual Sticks)
Motherboard:Any Asus motherboard under 50$.
HDD:500gb Seagate.
Case: coolmaster 40$
You forgot the PSU......
+WOLF Stanley EVGA 400W
i will cry if i buy this because im a android developer. without intel processor that haxm will hit my butt with thunder every day.
The Athlon *might* be a bottleneck. I'd go for a FX-4350 (at worst) or if you have a little more, an FX-6300 and a more expensive motherboard. You want to get a reasonable quality motherboard to keep speeds up.
Nice done!
It depends on the PC case. The white Storm Stryker case is insanely complicated. The last time I build a PC was back in 2005 and now on March 23 of 2018 I just finished with building a new PC using the Storm Stryker PC case and it was very hard but I was able to do it all by myself. I was lucky because the power supply I got was easier for cable management and that power supply is the kind where all of the cables had to be plugged into the power supply instead of the cables built in the power supply.
Core i3 in a gaming pc? 😂😂😂
Core i3 isn't bad but 4 cores is a big upgrade
an i5 wouldve been a much better option but an i3 should be able to do the job
why not? although we know the bottleneck part but still is a great processor to do the job,not the best but will do most of them job for you :D most importantly will end up back to GPU than CPU when come to gaming ,and RAM and SSD/HDD speed :o Processor don't affect much compare to other component ,CPU will be more effective if you are doing something like multi client /4-6 gaming task ,or even more like doing video editting ,model designing or etc etc then u require more CPU power :D the gap between it around 5-7 fps it look huge but when u run the game u understand :)
its the i3 6100 , it has hyperthreading its good for gaming
Willexx03 A real 4 core would've been a lot better but yea
"Gaming pc" has core i3 :D
Makkara Peruna an i3 has 2 cores and 2 logical ones so stop talking out your ass keyboard warrior.
samuel frimpong 4 logical ones.
Naaleppi Nope it's has 2 Physical and 2 logical not 4 logical. To have 4 logical you would need a 4 core 4t CPU.
Vatipää I'm guessing ur new to this
Just the thing I was thinking
Does anyone know when the giveaway is gonna be announced as I cant remember if he said it in the vidoe as i watched it soon after it was uploaded :)
I'm in process of building a gaming PC. I have to order a part or two every pay check but I really can't wait to start this project. My ps4 just isn't cutting it anymore.
and I'm surprised he could lift that case with those girl arms.
+fibreoptik Get off of it you failed abortion
Are you idiots serious? Man, do I not want to live on this planet anymore.
+i am ramen Shall I order 2 tickets to mercury so we can find kernel drives and gtfo of this system altogether?
***** Aww thanks, by the way, did you get the kernel drive reference? It's from a book called "Ultima" I really recommend it, so many mindfucks. It's a scifi with an extremely interesting plot that will keep you reading.
***** It's a must read for scifi lovers.
Great idea for a vid just need to be able to see the installation
Oh, Damm! My two favourite CZcamsrs in the same video
Could you do an in depth close up step by step build of this computer?
I have the same case but I have a question about airflow? I put 2 af fans in the front af the case (so it sucks air in the case) did I do good?
The best tech combo
i enjoyed this video very much thanks
You Sir, have successfully won a new subscriber :)
an entry level build for a an entry level PC builder
Also need to makes sure your case fits your parts (esp graphics card), cpu needs to be same socket type as mother board, power supply needs to be adequate (esp rated high enough for the graphics card). Definitely read a full guide
Do all CPUs fit in that slot on the motherboard? Is there one standard size for CPUs?
I built my first pc last year. Knew nothing about pcs a month prior. Watched a couple youtube videos to get an idea on parts I wanted. Then when I finally had enough money to do it. I just winged it. Wasn't hard. You know if you've plugged something in the wrong place because you pretty much can't. At least in my experience lol go nuts!
Question, can this run games like Overwatch and Battlefield One while recording or live streaming with XSplit gamecaster?
Thank you more making this!
Now i know how hard this REALLY is (the answer surprised me), and hopefully i will be trying it out within 2 years for my (very own) GAMING CHANNEL!
I have one question though:
Since i see a lot of people saying I3 in a gaming PC is an oxymoron idea, what is both affordable AND efficient?
go for an AMD CPU if you're wanting really budget, but unfortunately i don't know much about AMD CPUs
The i3 6100 is really good. Use pcpartpicker.com and r/buildapc and the r/pcmasterrace wiki for builds.
Its just something about doing custom built gives me so much satisfaction. Its a really good built. I simply wouldve gotten an i7 processor. Im also guilty on making parts color match and and some lights lol.
Hi
I'd like to know how can I get the Dolby Digital Plus sound program if I ever build a PC?
This program came with my old laptop and I really like it, I would like to know how can I get this program on a new desktop because I think it was integrated into my laptop!
hey could i get some help with this, why is it that some use ssd's with harddrives? what does it provide?
can't wait to build my pc on christmas
I love this video, it's really good to make this kind of videos .I actually like it . but I want to make sure that is the prize is real or no? and thank you for this video again
are the parts used in this video good for games like dying light enhanced edition and gta ? (thinking about buying a pc but i have no clue of wtf im doing and trying to find something good)
DarkShot same I'm trying to play on pc don't know what to fucking do lol helpme
Right? Because finding info is so hard when we have the largest collection of knowledge in the world at our fingertips.
What graphics card should i buy for this build? I need a good one for gaming please help
Do I have to buy a new operating system or can I burn it from another pc/laptop ?
I want to build one for use of video editing for up to 4k. Would be my first build but I really need advice on this.
QUICK QUESTION! Are there any parts of a pc that need to be plugged into a main source or is all the power done by the actual case so like the monitor doesn't need plugging into a main source it just needs to be plugged into the case.
I'm a console gamer who is in the middle of trying to save for a good pc, so thx
