I have been playing custom goo tuber a bit recently, and yeah it definitely won't work in many, or really most situations, but it does have genuinely decent and fun matchups as well as certain stages it's better on like barnacle and museum. I would never pull it out in a serious match as the weapon is admittedly still under tuned, but every now and then if I see an opportunity and my team is ok with it I'll show the enemy some of that coober action. In a scrim I pulled it out on barnacle zones and got a knockout, with me as the top splatter somehow, and though we were admittedly fighting against a lower div team it still proves something I feel. The matchups were also very favorable, with their team running double splatling + short range shooters
