When picking a dash camera, it's important to pick something that will work well with your car and capture high quality footage. This Vantrue can capture high quality 4K 30fps video from the front camera as well as 1080p footage from the rear camera. In this video, I'm installing this dual camera in a Hyundai Kona and routing the wires from the front to the 12v outlet and to the rear of the camera, configuring the camera and showing you live footage during a sunny day, clouding afternoon and cloud late night.

Have this hardwired and the app but you cannot access the footage when out of the car. 2 meter distance limit. So will not connect from home. That was extremely disappointing
Any ideas why my camera (that’s hardwired) continues to freeze and shut off ONLY when the rear camera USB is plugged in. The only way it works (about 10% of the time) is having it already running, and then plug the rear camera in, and even then there’s a good chance it freezes and shuts off. Also, I have a 256GB VanTrue memory card and it only records for 5 minutes at a time and re-loops. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
How is the rear camera quality in poorly lit areas? Does it still capture license plates
When connected to the wifi does this interfere with the Bluetooth?

Sure, but you’ll have to figure out what to do with ~15ft of cable or get/make a shorter one

How minuts récord dash cam, if the loop recording is off?
It will record constantly. But Loop recording will record over old footage. Therefore you don’t need to manually clear the SD card.
Can you get the camera to turn on when you start the car? If so, how do you do that?
It does that automatically. As soon as it sees power at the 12v socket, it turns on. Your car only sends power there when the ignition is on, so in a sense it’s all automatic.
@@SimpleCarGuy That was a quick reply. That makes sense. Mine is hard wired and sees power at all times, so it doesn't go off when I shut off the car. I wonder if I put it in Parking mode if it will shut off and then turn on when I start the car.
trying to hook mine up now but the instructions are very poor, still trying. I just cannot get it hooked up to Wifi.
Turn off any ad blocker software or app you have on your phone, that may be stopping connection between phone and dashcam. That was the issue for me with a different make of camera.

LMAO! bruh i know exactly all the roads u took haha. u live in the burbs too!? u know u can use a dongar splitter so u can do ur parking mode?
Thanks for the comment! I had a local shop install my dash cam with the hardwire kit for the parking mode but they didn’t install it right because the parking mode doesn’t work.

Won’t buy Vantrue brand again: Piss poor support, dashcam can’t keep time as it keeps reverting back to 2016, recording doesn’t start automatically any more.
I just ordered one several days ago and now sending it back. The mount was separated from the suction cup hanging by the wire. Also the suction cup kept dropping after a few seconds of mounting the camera to the window. Even after so called locking it.
@@gtamediaproductions1 That's probably why Vantrue sells an Adhesive Mount as a recommended option over the suction cup.
I just got it and hope it goes well.
@@afb8370 I have both the Vantrue N2 Pro And N2S hardwired to my vehicles, both work great I really cannot complain.
If it cant keep time the internal battery/capacitor is probably dead
