One of the things Bubba got from Dollar Tree was a little toy table saw thing. When we came home, I was putting some things away in the kitchen. When I returned to the living room, I realized he'd been sawing some graham crackers he was having as a snack. He was thrilled... and I must admit, the results looked a lot like sawdust! - Jak na to + styl

I rarely go to the Dollar Tree, but when I do I’m always thinking…”man I need to come here more, to pick up house products, like kitchen towels, washcloths, kitchen utensils etc.” Then I forget again and never go lol! I need to go there darn it!
You can't beat some of the kitchen stuff. I bought farberware knives there for a buck. Still shocked about that. 18 dollar knife. I bought 2 of them. Lol
I always go to Dollar tree-type stores for gift wrap, ribbon, party favors and table decorations, and miscellaneous stocking stuffers. This year, I'll give a look at the makeup - and embrace the randomness! Thanks Emily!

I've yet to see that. Where I live we have the absolute worst DT I've ever been too. I try to hit my old DT when I go back to my hometown. They have the best DTs there.
9:30 oh my goodness Starry… when I was in college, I had a chocolate brown crème eyeliner from Starry and it was my favorite makeup product… I’d completely forgotten about it 😮

The Wet and Wild skin tint is fabulous for mature skin. I am 69 and struggle either a foundation that doesn’t emphasize texture but evens my skin. This is magic. Perfect for my skin❤
We have a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree combo in nearby Ashland, Ky. It is really neat and has a lot of variety at awesome prices. The one in Ashland has cute craft stuff and school supplies. I like it a lot and sometimes it saves me a trip to Wal-Mart.
I have been loving the gel pens (stick type of pen and not a click type) at my Dollar Tree. They come with the little bit of wax on the pen point, and you need to remove that, but they work very well. They come 10 to a pack in either black or blue. I do volunteer work in a thrift store and have been buying them there--kind of my way of donating (I donate a lot of items too, but this above my usual donations). I also use them at home. At $1.25 for 10 pens is incredible and I am enjoying them a great deal.
Yay, I recently purchased those starry blushes, be on the lookout for the bronzers that come with them. I bought them on a whim now I am glad I have them. Beautiful as usual Emily ❤❤❤

Hi Emily! I remember you talking about cherry culture back in the day. I’ve been watching your videos since your very first what’s in my purse video. I love how you haven’t changed! You haven’t sold out to companies like most have. I know I’ll get an honest review with you. 😊 Even though I can’t wear much makeup anymore ( my skin developed an allergy). I’m 50 now and have worn makeup every single day until the last year. But I still love makeup and will suffer the consequences if I have something special to get prettied up for ha! Nice video! I found someone on CZcams saying the LA Color Biggie mascara is supposed to be a great tubing formula and I am dying to try it now!
I love LA Colors so much. I can play with make up and not break the bank. I have found several six pan eye palettes that I enjoy at DT. I found a Revlon lipstick, too, Winerose.
At DG I found an LA Colors blush/highlight duo that I use for eyeshadow.
I do love the Topaz lip gloss. I even like it on its own for a pared down look. It's terrific on the lips in the dry winter weather as it is moisturizing.
This is also a great antidote video for my current Sephora cart I created for the 20% off coupon 😅😅😅

My small town is the combo of DT&FD. Has been since DT bought FD several years ago. They recently remodeled & enlarged the store this summer. Was hoping it would be a total DT, but it stayed a combo. LAcolor has quite a bit of fallout, at least for me. Loved this look.

Yes, I have a local combo DT/FD store and I love it. Mine is inside an old grocery store. Its HUGE! It has everything you want and/or need. I shop there more than Dollar General, tbh. All of the dollar stores are super affordable, obviously, but I like that and love having options. My store is clean and organized. It's always fully loaded too! Idk if you have ever been to Big Lots, but it feels very similar to it. Of course, without the furniture and beds.
Sadly, my DG has been suffering since it changed management and also, Covid. The employees @ my local DG are lazy. They hardly stock the shelves and when they do, its unorganized. Most times, there's only 1 or 2 people working at my local DG store. So I hardly go there. The DG I will shop at is next to the grocery store I work at. It's big, super nice inside, always fully loaded, and clean. They also have extra employees working. Honestly, tho, Idk what I would do without those 3 dollar stores, but I think you'll like having DT/FD as a combo.

I am a stay at home wife after many years of being a substitute teacher (32 years) having a cleaning/organizing business part time, and working at a local store. I start my day sitting at my vanity doing my makeup with you. Even on days where I don’t leave the house,I feel more put together with my makeup done.

Just picked up the dollar tree Ioni blue mascara and I'm in love. The formula is amazing and lasts all day. Could be a tubing formula, haven't decided yet. But please review it. This brand is really good.

I adore the pan shadow palettes byy LA colors at dollar tree. I bought one in each shade and got extra that i gifted to a friend that also loves them now. the starry blushes are great too! i can easilydo a full face with dollar tree makeup now because they have putout so many gems lately! thanks for sharing what u used!

I have a vacation house, and there's a Dollar Tree within a mile. Then there's one in the touristy area a few miles away. You can tell that they stock some different stuff for the vacationers or as we refer to it as "the fancy Dollar Tree"

Believe Beauty is only at Dollar General. It’s good stuff! I especially like the concealer, but I stopped buying it because the doefoot tends to come off.

I went to a combo DT and DG in a small town in N. Tx,north of Ft. W. I forgot name. Oh,my...I was so excited! I'm 65,but felt like 5 y/o in a candy store 😅 the merchandise was so varied,and I could have spent more time. They're wonderful!

Our Christmas village is almost 100% Dollar Tree. Back in the early 2000s they offered ceramic houses. We have our entire village above our kitchen cabinets and the DT sizes fit perfectly. We fill in with more expensive accessories. So sad that we can't get more ceramic ones from DT.
Omg. I remember cherry culture. Got lots of nyx lipstick n liners there. I never wore fake lashes before but went to DT and bought the ioni lashes and black liner glue for Halloween and it worked fantastic. Was really surprised how easy it was. Went back and bought more of that liner glue pen and a few more lashes to play with. I love quite a few things from DT that I buy a lot. The LA Color lip oil cures my chapped lips unlike anything else. I used to buy the best face wipes there but when they changed prices they never came back. I haven't seen my retinol serum in a long time but loved it. Sometimes they have great nail polish. I get my deodorant there. I got the best makeup removers there by saie but they are no longer there but they sell a towel for cars that works fantastic. I use parts of the towel then wash it but you could sew many clothes out of that 1 towel. I get my energy drinks at DT. You can't beat the price. I bought some great lipsticks there and found a trick. They had lots of matte lipstick by Flower that is color of concealer and blue matte by Loreal. When I buy a good lipstick there that isn't my color I transform the color with those 2 shades and the matte makes the lipstick last on lips too. Things can really be hit or miss there but I really love DT.
The Dollar Tree Family Dollar combo's are in small towns. Frozen and refrigerator sections are the biggest difference. Its convenient. Ivdobuse my LA colors eyebrow pencil from DG or Dollar Tree/Family Dollar store. It is one of my favorites ❤ you found sone mice options

My dollar tree has a “plus” section where two isles are $3 & $5 items. Haven’t been in a while but I always get house cleaners from there!

We have the combo Family Dollar/Dollar Tree in our town. The Dollar Tree side is small and several sections are eliminated. The majority of the store is Family Dollar.

Love your look and omg, I want to go find that blush and highlighter 😍! We just got the dollar tree/ family dollar combo store in our little town. Most of the dollar tree stuff is on one side, and is very limited--mostly party supplies, and crafty stuff. You do have to watch what you are picking up thinking its only a $1.25 because there will be family dollar items interspersed and not $1.25. Very sneaky! Most of the makeup is over $1.25 but there are deals to be had. I picked up some LA colors lipstick for only $1.00. It's nice to have some of the dollar tree stuff, but it is a little disappointing. 🤔
I got the blush about a month ago. I also got the liquid one. The liquid one disappears quick. Even though it looks nice going on

We have a dollar tree/family dollar. In our experience the dollar tree doesn’t have the plus section like free standing and there is just kinda less dollar tree things and it drives you to family dollar.
Hi Emily! We have family photos next week and I was wondering what foundation you’d recommend from the drugstore. I’m a SAHM of 3 and only wear tinted moisturizer a couple times a week anymore! Normal skin.
