Hero's Journey yea I know. This was filmed live watching it and right after.
I was 12 years old when this show came on TV, its 8 years later and I'm now 20. I went through puberty and high school and became an adult in the time it took him to save his city... Its definitely been one hell of a journey

I wish shado returned, but i guess her not dying wouldn't make sense, slade being the villian. It changed him too so he wouldn't be the man he was when he saved his city if it wasn't for her death. Still, she could have came back in ep7 when they were on Lian Yu!

I have the same exact ranking as you; at first I thought I'd put season 5 at the top spot, but then I remembered that they shyed away from killing a character that actually mattered in the finale, so s2 wins, I mean it was fucking stupid that only the mom died in an explosion that basically almost destroyed an entire island...

I forgot what a straight BEAST S1 Ollie was. Between Emiko and Thea. The Al'Guhls and Sara. Barry and Kara. Tommy and Anatoli. COP DAD LIVES. All of team arrow reunited. Mia and Felicity. And HE GOT THE RING. AND HE IS OUR SPECTER WATCHING OUT FOR HIS TEAM. This was so much winning
I absolutely loved that finale, it had everything that I wanted from a final episode, a love letter to the fans, honoring past seasons, bringing back earlier characters, it had so much heart and emotion throughout, Arrow has been my favorite show since the pilot and the finale brought my favorite show to a fantastic ending.
It’s been a great journey for this amazing show, I remember when I started watching Arrow in Summer 2017 until it became a Arrowverse franchise. So long Oliver Queen/Green Arrow you have saved the multiverse. 🏹😭😭😭😭

Also, about not being able to fit adult William in the funeral scene, remember he got kidnapped before Mia was brought back for it! 😂 In all honesty though I wonder if it's because they can't both exist at the same time, and why only one Laurel could be brought back too... similar to what's happening with Beth & Alice in Batwoman.

Man I feel empty now. I grew up on Arrow. I was 12 when I watched the very first episode when it aired and now 19 and the show is over. This show had its ups and downs but I will always love it. Thank you Stephen Amell and everyone involved it was a hell of a ride. The only thing that I would have loved to see was to have Oliver meet Bruce Wayne/Batman and have a fight scene with those two together but WB is being too protective of the Batman IP oh well. R.I.P Arrow (2012-2020) you have not failed us fans.

I am gonna miss Arrow so much, it was a great Finale, i was so emotional, i cried and laughed, i was stunned all together, and that only Arrow could do for a long and now it's over

Even though I started watching Arrow in fall of 2018, I'm still happy I managed to watch this series as it aired. Arrow has been one of my favorite shows, alongside the others. Since I started Arrow, I've been introduced to other numerous shows, especially after Crisis. Sometimes I wish I started watching it earlier. But it was a great run. Thank you to Arrow for introducing me to the Emerald Archer and the entirety of DC!
Through the good times, and the bad times, I’ve always appreciated this show, and will miss watching it every week. Stephen Amell gave everything he had to this character, and we owe him so much for launching this universe. Gonna miss it, but enjoyed the ride!
Does anyone else think that if Green Arrow and the Canaries gets picked up that Mia finds William because she finds out about the tracker that felicity put in him during last episode?

Oliver couldn't bring OG Laurel back because it would mean they possibly never meet Dinah or Black Siren wouldn't of had her redemption because Quinten already had his daughter so he wouldn't have that motivation to help black Siren

When I saw the ship flying towards Diggle I flipped my shit lmao. Arrow has been such a ride I remember the first time I ever started watching Arrow was cause of Flash reactions. The whole cast and crew deserves an award just they've really become a family working together all these years I just love it. promethius and Slade are my fave villians and im gonna miss Oliver and Barry's bromance. This was a perfect ending to Olivers journey just wow. im gonna miss him and your reactions to this amazing show. Oliver changed the Arrowverse and our lives for good

It’s sad that arrow has ended I was watching at the beginning went it started back in 2012 and for 8 years arrow had been a big part of my teenage years I will forever miss arrow coz it made its on universe with other heroes. RIP arrow

Oliver didn't bring Laruel back for the same reason that he didn't bring his father back. Both of those deaths changed him for the better.

Here's my reasoning for the year in the headstone; technically Oliver died in the first episode of the Crisis in 2019, and he returned as The Specter, so basically he was a ghost and his soul was sacrificed, sort of.

With all the stuff going on in Supergirl and Batwoman with doppelgangers I don’t see why Earth-1 Laurel couldn’t come back and live a life with Tommy. And the Laurels could’ve had a cute conversation at the funeral about Oliver and how both of theirs died. They also could’ve compared their earths Olivers in a funny way like “did yours do that thing with his eyebrow too?” It would’ve been nice but whatever.
EDUARDO BALBUENA It would have been a nice service to the fans like the rest of the episode. She had just as much of a point to be there as Moira and Tommy in my opinion because she was just as important to him and he feels responsible for her death too.

Really unbelievable how many of the cast members they got back for this one. That said, I wonder why they didn't bring back Walter Steele (Moira's 2nd husband) & Huntress. Perhaps their stories are considered not to have altered from the show. Yao Fei and Shadow not returning makes sense because they're deaths, like that of Robert Queen, helped shape Oliver into the Hood.

This Arrow ending made me cry!
To see felicity and Oliver be together I absolutely balled my eyes out. Then to see a show I’ve watched since I was 11 just hits you. I’m really going to miss it. 😭

Technically, no time passed between parts 3 and 4 in terms of the timeline in the sense that time doesn't exist in the Vanishing Point. I imagine that part 5 still takes place in december 2019.
I liked it. Had the perfect balance of action, romance and hope for the future for some of these characters. Unfortunately it was diminished a little cause I Was irritated with Marc from seeing an argument on twitter that he had with fans over their thoughts on his mishandling of Katie and BC and then Marc’s response that BC was not popular.
He erased crime in his city and brought back those who were victims to his mission honestly not everyone gets that chance and he died happy knowing he did that.
What an amazing show!!

David Ramsey apparently said in an interview that we will see what was in the box and how it affected Diggle. Not sure if it will be during his upcoming appearance on Flash or some other appearance.
Edit: Nope, looks like Flash happens before the Arrow finale.

also Oliver Died in part One, Spectre(Oliver) died in part 4 so his headstone would say 2019 also the Universe would've returned to the same day so it would've still been 2019 in part 5
Jason Usher yea but the spectre is immortal and the show runners confirmed he is still spectre( they said that they did this to be able to use oliver in the future ) plus he is in the paradise dimension for his sacrifice

I am so confused about Dinah. Last week she said that nobody knew her when the universe was redone. Now this week everyone knows her and she still works at the police department. I know it was set 20 yrs later but I’m just confused.
I raised my eyebrows a lot in this episode. I've a lot of issues with the episode but whatever..
Liked this episode a lot although I disliked the fact that they brought back Lance,Tommy & Moira back to life because they've had an impact on Oliver and Earth-2 Laurel. Too much sci-fi stuff in an Arrow episode. I'm still kinda satisfied.
I didn't like the fact that Oliver's died too many times. It made the death later less emotional.
LOVED THAT FIGHT SCENE AND GREEN LANTERN TEASE although I laughed at Diggle when he got hit by something so big and then he's invincible?? Wtf.
To answer the confusion on the death year. He officially died in the first episode. They resurrect him but his soul doesn’t come back until he transformed into Specter. Which made him not totally Oliver. So in a way, his death was always 2019.

By the way, they actually couldn't show a ring. They did an interview with David Ramsey and he said they connected with DC execs, and basically pushed it as far as they were allowed on the show. They mention him moving the family to Metropolis, and obviously that's where the new Superman & Lois show that's in production will be taking place, so either cameos or a recurring character role is certainly possible. Another possibility lies within the HBO Max Green Lantern series in production. It's being headed up by Greg Berlanti; one of the showrunners of Arrow, so he might recruit David Ramsey to play John Stewart there as well. (At least we'll get a little fix of Diggle soon in an upcoming episode of Flash...)

Honestly I'm glad Arrow is ending now because I feel if kind of ran through Oliver's story. If Arrow went on for another few seasons, I feel it would end up dragging. So I feel it ended at the right time.
