Breakfast time began quietly, but the atmosphere changed when Shabani started messing around with Nene, the female.
Nene chased Shabani around screaming, and Nene's son Kiyomasa also chased Shabani.
This is a scene that happens every once in a while, but after that, Kiyomasa showed off (displayed) to Shabani, and the tension increased further.
The female gorillas, Ai and Annie, were fearfully watching them.
The neighbor chimpanzees were also very excited to see the gorillas and were screaming, but when Shabani glared at them, they became quiet.
After a while, the tension between Shabani and Kiyomasa eased, and they returned to their usual relaxed Shabani family.
In the end, Shabani and Kiyomasa were playing together in harmony.
As an aside, the chimpanzees threw sand toward the gorillas while screaming, and it was very painful when the sand hit me.

How did he bite off more than he could chew. None of them can do anything to him. This needed to happen for shabani to assert his dominance again. Kyo and nene have been defying him at every step and shabani is trying to restore the hierarchy of the group.
What fight? Shabani is only truly happy when hes showering in the rain or being chased 😂❤

A kiyo le saltan las hormonas Pero aprendio de su papá a restaurar la relacion y seguir como siempre. Nené interfiere es muy absorbente y para Kiyomasha es una seguridad ante la fuerza del padre que se subio a la torre como un aitentico king.

This is a terrable zoo. The cage and surroudings for these huge beasts are too small. It saddens me. People laugh at them. They have no shade or water. No murals of trees. Poorly designed enclosurer. I pity them!

Shabani has great strength, but he uses it to get his troop going. He loves to pick on Nene, Ai, and Kiyo to get them to chase him. He leaves Annie alone....she's his little princess. He has such personality.🤣💗

I am not even surprised by the chimpanzees and Gorillas troops that war with one another Violence is our humanity not compassion it's shared with all of our family tree unfortunately
And as much as we learn from studying animals in enclosures I am torn about zoos and research centers and I know that the good out weights the bad in almost all cases but I can't help but reflect upon Sea world and other well known cases with horrible outcomes including the exotic pet trade

This is one of the most unnatural setting in a zoo for these great animals. Their bored and frustrated! At least get them some more natural setting and fauna. Give them a water feature, some trees and better selection of natural plants. This looks like a prison courtyard... imagine this your life as a gorilla...feeding them and caeing for their medical needs isnt enough. These animals require lots of enrichment to keep their minds busy as their bodies.
