Calfs look happy and healthy come 6 month time be big fine animals . Nice one as ever
They will indeed! Thanks Stephen!
500+kg at 12 months sounds like a bloodline you want to keep, getting cattle of to market 6months earlier sounds like a good way to save money on feed
They are getting 5kg of barley a day in that group…but yes get them gone early!
Seriously Josh, you are becoming one of the best uk farming channels.
If You haven’t already subscribed you should!! Excellent channel.
Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words!
Another great video Josh always nice to see new calves new life on the farm and spring around the corner and I'm looking forward to the brighter and longer evenings
Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one
Hoping spring comes sooner rather than later!
That's one pretty looking calf that Paulo's mum delivered Josh, plus she was not the only one who was lying down on the job Josh, was she 😂😂. Those creeper boards are great things around tractors and bigger vehicles & equipment.
We’ve used that creeper board more times in the last week than we did the old one in the last 4 years!
Good video the shear grab looks massive on the Massey you would definitely need the weight block 🤣
Haha yeah! Wouldn’t want to be loading the wagon with it every day!
Another great video josh 🦌👍👍👍
Thanks as always Sandy! 🙌🏼
How far away do you live from your workplace, for coping back to check on cows ??
Good luck with the Pedigree mungeral stabilisers.😊
I’m about 15/20 minutes away from the farm!
Another excellent vid 👍 👍
Cheers Antony!
Brilliant video as always
Thank you!
Hi Josh great times ahead calves on their way and spring. Great stuff take care.😊
Can’t wait for spring!
Good looking Calfs
🙌🏼
Hi Josh, what breed is the black white cow in 1:22 ?
Hereford 👍🏼
👌
🙏🏻
Paulos mum needs a name! What a cute little calf paulo mk2? Not being picky Josh but there was no mention of your video title in your video at all?.. missing footage? Blooming go-pros 😂 #jbspe
She does indeed! He’s been named Pee Wee! I did talk about the rats to my camera, but I had a hideous smudge over the lens 🤦🏼♂️ so I didn’t use it! Love the hashtag
Awesome bud cheers 👍🏻
Thank you!
Well done Josh
Thanks Toni! 👍🏼🙌🏼
Very good video, what system do you use for recording the cattle ?
Thanks Mark! We use AgriWebb! It’s a fantastic app, can be as simple or as detailed as you like!
That’s a nightmare very unlucky😮
Not ideal! 😅
Good video Josh
Thanks Philip! 🙌🏼👍🏼
I love these videos, however some of the continental farms visited by Farmer Phil lately make this science institute look quite archaic! I know all farms are not automated, but European systems are more forward looking.
Depends what you are doing I suppose. Automation works for some places better than others. It wouldn’t suit a lot of what we do.
Great video josh. What horsepower is that massey with the front loader. A nice tidy tractor.
The one that had the shear grab on is about 110 I think!
