The first 2 minutes alone of this video is reason enough for me to be a supporter of your channel. Stunning cinematography, great music. Harvest Time at the Welker farm, most anticipated time of year for CZcams
1:37. ... SWEET
3 days ago... wow, that's nice... btw i just wanted to say that is second reason why is this my favorite youtube channel
Now this has an intro for a harvest video by Welker Farms. (Highly encourage whoever is editing to go back to see when Nick was editing those original startup years to bring back that flavor...Focused on drone video, music and nothing more... that was something magical!)
How did your Canola experience rate is it something that you would try again.
Well said
I don’t know who edited that introduction, but it was amazing! Tugged at my emotions. AMERICA!
This is what I call Amber Waves of Grain territory, so amazing. Harvest is always my favorite time of year.
I blame Hollywood.
Agreed! Love it.
That would be mr nick welker
There needs to be a “Farm CZcams Emmy” award for creative content here!!!!
Every Farmer Deserves a GOLD MEDAL!
I was so impressed with the beginning that I showed it to my wife. One minute later she was at the piano and playing that tune perfectly. You guys are inspiring (and Kobe also).
@@ReflectionswithRoger-w5o wow good for her!
Like what Nick used to do with the Halo theme on my harp!
Thank you guys for old glory flying! I wished I had money to support your channel. Please keep the videos coming. God bless your family and America 🇺🇸
0:22 First filming of the amazing Combine Ballet! Beautiful! Blessings.
What an amazing, glorious, and beautiful beginning. WOW!!! Please do more. I love the flags, the sunset, the hills, all of it. Tremendous!!!
I left the farm almost 25 years ago...and that intro has me questioning my life choices.
Right?!🇨🇦 There’s a certain kind of majesty in how they capture it.
We just caught an inch of rain in southeast alberta in the past couple days but too late for alot of the crops up here, boy did we have a heck of a nice crop coming in may and june but july cooked us. Still will be much better than last year maybe 25bu/ac across the board which is much better than around 10-13bu/ac the past few years. We’re definitely in the same boat as you guys drought wise. Good luck with harvest this year and god bless you guys!
you all have such a wonderfully positive attitude no matter what comes your way. You just take on the challenge and push on. You are to be commended for all that you do. Thank you.
We love the field harvest, crop report videos. We follow the crop just as you do. Thank You from michigan.

Takes an air hammer to remove the sickle? Geesh no wonder it broke. Last one I replaced was a 30ft. Slid old one out and new in by hand. All 30ft.
Never used a air hammer regular hammer is fine
Replaced our 35 ft ever year putting spare in or every other year always slid right out with ease, never took the end guards off either
@@allenwalters9068 same took the drive head off, slide it out, slide new one in. Occasionally it might get stuck but a small pry with a flathead and it’s back to sliding
Is this the header they bent and tried to straighten?
Driving by Shelby from central Alberta to see the 747 with my kids in Havre. It's like a religious pilgrimage for us. My boys know where the Welkers live and I guarantee they will mention it. Maybe you will see us wave in the distance as we go past on Thursday lol. God bless you guys! Crops are looking good overall!
I am absolutely delighted you’re having a harvest so far that I have been hoping for , for your great families . I just hope it continues all the water the end . It’s wonderful to see you guys smiling after two or three dismal years . 🤞🤞🤞🤗🤗
Nick, if you begin your harvesting on the far side of the field where the wind is blowing towards you if a fire does break out in will have to crawl up wind and won’t spread nearly as fast.
The toils that you guys face every year speaks to your tenacity! Hope you guys have a great season. Thanks for growing our food!
The opening looks and sounds glorious! It would be great to have more like this to remind everyone what a great country we are! Keep putting these out until we the people have our country back.
Thanks guys! 🇺🇲
We love farmers truckers and the veterans and all the emergency services they make the world go round :) thank you for feeding and helping the world my hat is off to you all 😊😊
Its amazing how talented farmers, especially you guys, are in adapting and fixing things on the fly. It's hard enough being a farmer but the skills needed to keep the farm running areway understated.
You guys do a great job. I love your videos. I can't help but think about you guys whenever I see rain on the forecast 😂 I'll be praying that your next crop will be blessed. Rain is a blessing from our Father. Definitely gives me a different appreciation for rain after watching these videos and realizing just how dependant on rain farmers are. God bless guys. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Jeffrey! We really appreciate it!
The drone footage at the beginning, especially with the flag flying in the sunset… man that was awesome 🇺🇸
The drone shots and the music combo are awesome 🇺🇸🇺🇸
drone video at the start was over the top amazing. Lots going on, will watch this episode several times. Just a thought for new folks, show the Fire Tamer in action link from 4 years ago, that was exciting, plus how you have it set up now. You did not want to put it up on the newer expensive sprayer upgrade. As you mentioned fires at harvest are a real threat.
Thanks for this video of Harvest 2024. In it, you demonstrate the versatility, inventiveness and the NOTHING CAN STOP HARVEST attitude of our Nation's Farmers.
@@j.ericswede7084 thanks for watching!
Legarms blowing smoke in the pete ..love it.
Great explanation about yellow peas from your Dad. The drone footage at the beginning is sweet!! Glad your having a decent harvest.
In South Australia we have to comply with the harvest code of practice which gives us parameters around wind speed, humidity and temperature 👍
It's always interesting watching your channel! Thankful for the increase in yields so far for you. I'm hoping Colby gets to chase something soon. 😂 Safe harvest
Glad the yield is decent for the far this year, better than the last couple years. Good you got the combine going again.
Nice to see you guys are getting somewhat of a decent crop this year. Have a great harvest!
Much respect to your family for what you do. Never any negativity, thank you, for that also. God bless you and your family.
Nice watching the harvest dance, with those big behemoths.
2:13 in and I had to stop and comment.
WOW, the opening shots are spectacular, not sure who does the editing but you deserve some kind of an award. Absolutely stunning.
Thank you for posting the date, also, LOVE your opening footage. You are a class act.
Great video guys and EXCELLENT drone footage as always!!!! Glad your numbers are better than last year still sending prayers your way
Tis the season. That intro reminds me of why I do what I do. Eight reman feederhouse cylinders, 12 cutter bar main arms bored and sleeved, out the shop with a two day turnover and tomorrow a rear axle crossmember made from scratch will be done in four days work, instead of a six month delivery on a cast iron part. I´ll keep on as long as you farmers keep on. 🤝
Oh my gosh love your beginning! Drone footage is beautiful!
Nick, as always your eduts are majestic!! Thank you for the love you out into each "episode".
Out here by Iowa, i have yet to see a grasshopper. Conservation dept says its because of heavy rains. Well, they are wrong because my area has had 3 inches total since May 1, so that story doesn't work What happened to them?
I've not seen a monarch in two years now. My bee garden is barely buzzing. Something is terribly wrong.
Mr. Welker im so proud that your boys are being so safety conscious especially for the littles that watch, Nick and Scott, God bless you both 🙏🙏💕
My opinion is farmers like the Welkers and Fast Ag make due with what they have these are the real deal farmers some of these other farmers on CZcams call techs every time to make repairs and use expensive equipment to get it done
I believe that’s probably true. The reason being that the equipment is leased and the lease requires it repaired by their technicians. It’s all about propriatary information and technology.
Hello Nick, Amazing intro! That’s what drew me into the channel years ago, plus the time lapse rebuild of the Big Bud. Thanks and God Bless you and your family and also the Harvest.
I like seeing the S & S flying on the combine, class. Hodgy from Bragg Creek, Alberta.
Dad buddies farm around Fairfield. All irrigated, we are from northern mn not far from grand forks nd. Right off of hwy 2 and they can crush us generally
Hi Guys been away for a while so been catching what you guys been doing wow been busy busy😧
great to be back love the truck you done super Kool.
glad to see coby still doing good😎.
omg kid growing fast holly moose's😆
Nice to see your harvest going so well!
If nothing breaks - your not farming. Thank you for the video. God bless.
That has to be the best intro to any of your vids you have ever done ….hands down the best…
Fantastic work 👏👏👏
The best part is at the end where it says God bless one of my favorite channels to watch Thank you guys and God bless you as well
That's interesting what you were saying about the grass hoppers, I live in the St. Louis MO metro area, every summer we have June bugs and we have had a Stink Bug problem here the last couple years, ever since we had Cicadas we haven't seen either all summer.
That gorgeous Big Sky sunset shining through Old Glory is spectacular.GOD BLESS AMERICA
these majestic intros give me goosebumps! God Bless Welker Farms!
What a GREAT opening sequence
Thank the Lord for all blessings great or small, because the hour is late for sure.
G-d bless all you Welker's.
totally anticipating the equipment to turn into Autobots during that intro! Awesome job!
GOD I LOVE YOUR INTROS!!!!!!!! Luv ya's from Kentucky!!!!
Nick will be after one of them bucks this fall and winter ❤❤ hope he gets one on video love seeing them ❤❤
Awesome video buddy!! Glad to see y’all getting the crop out. From La.!!😁🙋🏼♂️👍
You guys need to make a full length documentary on Farming the Welker Farms way..... boy what I wouldn't give to make a couple of turns with one of the semi's field to storage.... looks like a great season..
Great opening. Beautiful country
Got to love breakdowns. My Dad's combine had the rear crank seal go out 3 days into harvest. It is still in time out.
Hope harvest keeps on going good with minimum parts breakage. You guys know how to roll with the breakages, come up with fixes, and keep on rolling. May God Bless!
Once again, amazing footage! You guys really know how to put together beautiful shots of the farm!
I know you must get used to it but you live in a stunningly beautiful world. Thanks for sharing!
Wrap a chain around the back axle of the combine and let it drag on the ground for static electricity
Sick drone work my man!! Worth the price of admission!!!
Up here in Alberta we usually try to have a cultivator or a big disc never to far from the combines
Awesome video. Thank you guys
Great filming !! Bless you guys !!
Thanks for answering my question, why yellow peas!
Take care and be safe!!!!
you said eco-friendly...then cut to Leg Arms ROLLIN' some coal out of that Pete! I love it, enjoy your content
Your drone openings are awesome. They would make great shorts by themselves
That intro is enough to make a grown man cry. BEAUTIFUL 🇺🇸❤
Nick you have captured a wonderful time of the year, the essence of God's creation and life in the country. Amazing drone footage as always. Tip my hat to you. God bless you all!
Just like Greg Warren says you absolutely can't go pea on pea! Except for Larry... He always goes pea on pea on pea on pea on pea... Or something.
That old John Deere sure could use some love!

It’s amazing the number of different applications that air hammers are darned handy for!
Congratulations on this fall's crop!
Well I'm from Canada and figured I'd check up on harvest. Thanks for doing what you do.
Begging is Premo! 😎💯👍 Glad to see better yields!! Thank the Lord✝✝
Amen
Thank you another interesting video and for all the hard work and dedication you have to farming. The is famous kids tv show in the UK called Blue Peter. There is a name suggestion the kids might like. Thank you and God bless.
That is quite the intro song. For a second I thought I was watching an intro to a video about a guy climbing mount everest in the winter lmao. Just joking, best of luck on the rest of your harvest.
Thanks guy's and as always GOD BLESS y'all.....
Old F-4 II Shoe🇺🇸
Got to love triangle fields. They are my pet peeve when haying!
Nick, great drone work. Awesome seens. And the music choice is over the top.
The new rebuilt truck. After seeing it in the field I'm leaning towards (Blue Bunny) for a name 💙
I've said it before & I'll ( hopefully ) say it again, those intro drone shots are just awesome........the rest of the video ain't too bad as well .😄. Looking forward to the next one.
I got geese bump....................WOW. Beautiful intro
Good year so far for u guy's hopefully it just get better as the day goes by.
So glad to see you finally have gotten some rain. Im from north dakota and have a simmilar sized farm to you we also run case equipment, we run 2 9250s and fd250 headers i cant wait to see what your next machines will be. And maby if you get a grain cart ever 🤷♂️
15 bushel peas gotta make it tough to pay the bills. Hope the yields pick up as you go
Seems like things are clicking pretty well. Kids in the cab are an awesome thing. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. 😂😂😂😂
Thank you Mr welker for the pea explanation. Love the videos.
Your drone footage is always amazing!!
Nick I enjoy your video it's like professional production. God bless.
Nice to see some good yields, Lets Go Welkers!
I know it’s hard to pray for your own so I’ve been praying for ya appears that it has helped with yields And yes I know I’m not the only one praying for ya there’s a bunch of us so god bless and stay safe in the fields
Scott when you have those types of springs break or lost, use some engine valve springs. Quick get you back running.
Intro sound and images.👍👍 It must be the lack of rain at flowering that limits your yields. In France, it's heat stroke at flowering, especially in the south.
Over the last 20 years, spring pea yields have become ridiculous, dry forage for animals, yellow or green even north of Paris, where 90bu/a is now only 50-60 bu, also because of aphanomyces. Peas sown before winter can withstand temperatures of -5°f, but for the past 20 years our cold has not gone below 20°f (so they flower before the heat waves of May, but another disease, bacteriosis, has appeared: Pseudomonas syringae pv pisi).
On the other hand, inoculation is not used 🌱
Perfect drone shots
Awesome drone footage.
Greetings from Choteau
