I think the 5m+ city you missed was Belo Horizonte. Cities over 2.5m, might be Fortaleza in Brazil, or Yinchuan, Chifeng, puer or Hulunbuir in China. Cities over 1.5m is a little harder to tell, and properly includes the already mentioned cities, but could be Kisangani in DR Congo or Yekaterinburg in Russia. Ofc, this all depnds on what numbers they used, so it is really hard to tell.

As a Faroese, I do appreciate the thought you had of Tórshavn having over 50,000 inhabitants. However, the entire Tórshavn metropolitan area only has about 20-22,000 inhabitants. Great job on the quiz.

You were stumped on the classic St. John/st John’s trap. St. John’s is the capital of Newfoundland and St. John is a city in New Brunswick.

Many times you named cities already deep in circles and finished countries, that costed you precious time.
Although tbh I don't know nearly as many cities so I wouldn't have done any better lol.
was going to point out that as well, however it helped him in places like Japan, where it literally completed the country for him. can’t really knock the strategy in that case; however I was pulling my hair out at his spelling 😭

45:37 Punta Arenas is not the world southernmost city, only Chile's.
World's southernmost city is Ushuaia, Argentina, or Fortín Sargento Cabral if you count small villages (also in Argentina).
I think you're wrong. If you consider towns Puerto Williams in Chile is further south than both you named. Also Punta Arenas is the southernmost continental city. From there you only have islands.

I don't understand why invalidate islands though. The only difference with a continent is that enough people agree it's a continent, but not everyone agrees how many they are, because the definition is so loose.

I think that islands are okay but definitely not Antarctica.
The thing with islands is when Ushuaia is called the end of the world. Being an island that is separate from the world, so it's not its end.
And there are populated islands and towns further south than Ushuaia.
You should try the north american version as well, I have already done the world one before watching this clip though but I am going to do it again!

To clarify Somaliand is a state that is a part of Somalia, not a country, hence it doesn't have a capital city unless you're talking about the state capital.

Typing 1 city counts all cities within a certain distance away. Intermediate counts all cities within a circle of 500km
