I can't click like enough times to give this justice. Absolutely fantastic job.
As of the posting of this comment, it has officially been 8 days since Akira Toriyama's passing, a day since it was publicised. The man has personally brought many children, teens, adults and even the elderly memories worth holding onto and sharing to others. He's created a legacy for those to follow in and to branch off for their own paths to greatness. The man known for his works such as Dr. Slump, artwork in Chrono Trigger and the entirety of the Dragon Ball franchise. May he rest in peace, watching all the hearts he touched from the Other World.
Kind of surprised only one other person has seemingly come here because of the news... Trunks was always my favorite character, Vegeta trailing closely behind. Thanks for all the fun after school memories Toriyama...and thank you for making me think back at how cringey i was trying to go super saiyan ....

+hbk711x the original theme called Heroic Trunks was meant to be played while Trunks first fought Frieza, and to become his theme. But they wanted to add more mystery to Trunks and make you question if he was a good guy or not when you first see him, and like it's name, Heroic Trunks is a very good-guy sounding song, so they used different music and never developed it as his theme, so it was never used in the show, but it's a great piece so they used remixed versions of it for Goku's death and a few other scenes. You can find a video that edits Heroic Trunks in to his fight with frieza the way it was originally meant to be used. Called "Trunks fights Frieza with Heroic Trunks"or something like that
