#chess #ericrosen #TitledTuesday - Hry
That premove against Nepo was physically painful lol
These longer high-class streams are actually quite instructive, especially when it's not bullet and Eric has time to explain the thought process.
More of that format, please! 😊
Some guy named Nepo😂. I like this new editing style by Eric lol
yeah i chuckled out loud to that one too lol
0:50 the wink 😭😂
Then starts talking about learning Indonesian lol
OMG - Eric's little wink! 0:50
Really glad you're back on CZcams and making higher quality and more considered videos than before. I'm not a live-stream guy because I don't have time to watch someone live for hours to see the good parts, but it's great being able to watch videos like these in my own time and at my own pace.
Eric, "If you're just joining, this is chess. It's like scrabble but a smaller board...and fewer letters".
It only makes sense, Eric is a Scrabble streamer. He's not bad at chess as well
Eric: *winks when he talks about relationships* *immediately starts talking about learning Indonesian*
Is that what I think it is?
Yoooo that explanation of middlegame principles in the form of the 3 questions towards the end of the video was actually underrated af
You're so friendly and fun I don't mind not skipping the add it's weird
11:50 world championship challenger vs photographer 🤣
6:52 nearly Nepo gambited against Nepo
the gap between IM’s and GM’s is so small yet so vast at the same time. it’s so crazy, i love this game so much
To be fair the gap between just GM and Nepo is way bigger
Since Nepo is a superGM..
Am I wrong or does Eric miss a big fork here? 17:30
was wondering about that move as well
Good catch! I didn't play d3 because I wasn't sure about Qxd3 exd3 Rxe8 and it looked a little scary
@@eric-rosen Rxe8 Rxe8 Bf8 Bb4 Nc5 and I don't see how white can stop black from just going Kg7 and moving bishop away from f8
And they faced an ELITE international master ;)
Irene is probably also a big reason to learn indonesian :) you two are one of the best duos of the chess world!
i got covid and with your calm demeanor you are one of the few youtubers i can watch without worsening my headache, thanks man.
I want a full stream of just Eric identifying boats
0:51
Don't mind me just saving this timestamp for myself for no particular reason
Nepo using a Rosen Trap to steal a win from Eric Rosen was outstanding
The stonewall game was really nice, converting a positional advantage (with a zugswang!) is satisfying to watch
Serious Rosen vs a bunch of GMs is the best chess content
Amazing content as always
Very good video .. Thanks
Love you, cheers from Brazil!
Bloody hell, almost beat Nepo!
You’re a stud Eric, love watching you play.
Can't wait for the full Boat-Identification speed run video
For some reason I thought he was going to stop at "there's over a dozen different languages" and I was like yeah, that's an understatement.
I admire your composure, I would have knocked my screen off the table during that first game
"I should really know what I'm doing here but I don't." 😆😆😁 ❤ Quote of the week.
He remembers playing a certain GM in 2015 and the preparation...I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday lolol
I appreciate your response to my question :) I have been looking for my most under developed piece and it has helped me gain 100 points!
In the game against Mikhal87, don't you miss a fork on the rook and queen move 31?
I'm glad someone noticed this. I couldn't see a problem with it.
Oh yeah. Another great video.
Your voice are just relaxing, keep going 🤙🔥
Damn you were so close to keep up with Nepo there and all we got was a very calm quiet "oh I'm so sad now "
Aren’t planes just boats of the skies, lol arghhh more boats 🤣🤣
Not sure if you see comments on videos after a few days but the stonewall game you went against was super helpful to me. I see it a lot around the 1500-1800 range in blitz. I also have a friend who is ~2100 (so 600 rating points better than me) that pretty much only plays the stonewall attack against me when we play, so seeing an example of how to beat it is really helpful. I feel like there isn't a lot of CZcams content for playing the stonewall and even less on how to really punish it as black so that one game made me even more glad I watched the full video 🙂
Get well soon Eric!
10:14 nooo .. I was saying outloud watching watch out for the bishop sack with your premoves lol
Wowww almost won against Nepo! That’s incredible, good job
✨some guy named nepo ✨
The 2nd game was very decent. Instructive games.
great game against Nepo
The WINK!!!!!! around 0.50
Did Eric miss a fork 🍽️ at 17:36?
Aren’t planes just a boats of the sky blew my mind😂🤣
World champion challenger vs photographer.. made me smile..
I don't know why but this guy is pretty cool I really find it interesting on his video I even use it as my sleeping pill when I watched his long videos 😅 sending love and support from Philippines Eric, keep it going😇💪
'World Championship Challenger against Photographer.' - loool
5:28 Eric Playing Nepo, World Champion Challenger: Maybe Queen C2. Keep holding. Holding or HODLing?
THE WINK
5:45 was c5 possible instead of Qc2? looked good to me
Hmmm... The boat boat boat at the end seems like a himym reference.
Game 2 vs NM Mikhal867 on move 31 17:31 , what's wrong with d3? I see a fork on a Queen and rook with no checks to escape. Idk, I'm not the IM.
after d3, white has Qxd3, then after exd3 there is Rxe8+, Rxe8, Rxe8+, bishop must block on f8 and finally white can play bishop to b4 since black’s bishop is now pinned to the king. so black wins queen and a rook for two rooks, bishop and pawn. position is still hugely winning for black but maybe not worth taking the trades for eric
@@jycegaming8530 You have backwards Nc5 to block the bishop
It is a blitz game, you can't see everything, just thought it was obvious. I don't think most people take d3 with the Queen though, even though that at least allows white to make the exchange mean something instead of losing a rook with no purpose.
You were so close to beating Nepo holy bajeebis
Ericcccccc
Where is dubai rapid chess round 9 recap video?
I'm eagerly waiting for your final match.
Hello Eric, it's John!
1:33:45 Captain Sully would agree
19:34 another London
Global Grandmaster Elite Plus
This is why i don't premove, it's for those games against world champ level contenders
17:31 why no fork of queen and rook brotha
Wow 1:25:00 is the first time i have seen you get the slightest bit irritated in probably 100 hours of content i have watched...that is extremely impressive sir, i hope to have your patience zen attitude some day : )
You almost cut out the wink 😉
ZOMG eric you were so close to a massive upset there
11:15 wouldnt you have check with pawn promotion???
just in game 1 , why not play Be2 first , instead of allowing d5 to chase it back?
Coming up next: Playing elite super grandmasters
17:31 d3 pawn fork missed?
NOOOO I SAW BXB6 coming good try Eric
🥳👍
There is no shame in being defeated by the Nepomancer.
Eric you have a big Schnoozer in the intro LUL
BOAT BOAT BOAT hahah
Your shirt looks like the old Cartoon Network logo
“World championship challenger versus photographer “ 😅
Love chess community ❤️🙏
Does he sell shirts?
Yep! shop.imrosen.com/
17:31 d3 fork?
He maybe thought d3 Qxd3 Rxe8+ Rxe8 Rxe8+ Bf8 and then Bb4 but he migjt have missed Nc5 in that position
Calmest response to an annoying reCAPCHA ever. Aren't planes just boats in the sky?
Airplanes are submarines for space
Scam call declined variation 😅
Comes to 🇮🇩 again
game 3 did you have d3??
Never play D3
I’m not gay but damn I love this man 😂 great chess and now I can learn Spanish for 65% off 😂 keep up the great work
Wait, is he dating Irene Sukandar? 😮 I wanna know the Eric Rosen gossip
Some guy nepo😂
Fyi Igrock means "player" in russian.
like a g6
Some guy named nepo 💀💀💀
That premove was atrocious . Even sat with the premove active for multiple seconds. Yikes
Wow man, you actually had Nepo for a lot of the game. He’s just way too good on the clock though.
some guy name nepo ... LMAO
was eric just winning against a 2700-2800 grandmaster and lost to a dirty premove trap?
Russians shouldn't be playing Chess, they should be concentrating on how to sacrifice their King before he sacrifices us all.
Putin playing atomic chess and he's not concerned about material
Second
NIC EVID BRO 12TH COMMENT
ELITE? Did you mean NAVEL?
Don’t feel bad I wouldn’t beat Nepo either….
