Sandra is a fantastic instructor. I am sometimes skeptical of videos like these, because I've seen too many cases where the video focuses on flashy features and provides only a little useful advice. As soon as I heard here though, I knew it would be a legit vid. Thanks Sandra!
Great lecture, thank you.
Thank you, I learned a lot
Hi! Good job. Waiting for your Webinar on Conext MPPT 60 150 too
Really good video, make it simple and clear enough. One question, where can I get the Modbus protocol for lithium battery integration?
Awesome description of this product!! Any chance can I use the "MPPT Disconnect RS" as a Combiner box? Currently setting up a plan using your Xantrex XW6048 Dual Inverter system along with Two MPPT 80-600 Charge Controller. Basically looking for combiner options as well and Rapid Shutoff would be ideal for our 32 panel Ground mount system. Any suggestions?
Hola gracias por su vídeos son muy buenos puedes hacer uno de context 4048 inverte como desactivar el cargador de baterias
Hi Sandra, thank you so much for the insight into how these work. I have a dual inverter/dual charge controller system using 2 of these MPPT 80 600 controllers, however, one of my inverters (the master) is no longer actually charging even though it still tells the slave inverter to and that one is working as expected. Is it possible that one of my charge controller fuses is blown? If so, what would be my procedure to test it? Thanks!!
Can you please explain the difference between Combox and SCP? And can I configure my SW inverter with one?
At 18:40 you show a photo of three inverters and five charge controllers. I have two inverters and three controllers. Where can I find a video or documentation on how to wire such a system?
For the controls options, I would prefer the simple local control panel and NOT any iPhone/Cloud application. Is the locally attached non-internet control panel an option still today?
Hello.. I recently install one off those chargers with one XW+ 6848 and the charger is giving me a W55 code heat sink temperature error. I also notice the top fans did not come on...any help will be appreciated. Thanks
Buenos dias sandra necesito saber como le doy reset al mppt 80 150
The 80 600 mppt handles 4800 in from pv , the xw pro handles 8500 pv in. Does this mean I need 2 80 600 mppt s’?
my assist circuit from grid is showing voltage but no watts on the monitor
Hi Sandra I have just acquired 3x8548xw+ and 3 x 80/600 mppt . I am going to connect 2 of 48v/200 ah batteries i want to connect 1 on each phase . My question is can I connect all the batteries to all sets .
Check out our channel where I install a 15.36Kw Multi Inverter and Charge Controller Schneider System.
Hi! Will this charge my 220v battery bank?
HVMPPT models only charge 24V and 48V battery banks.
What happened to Sandra's Channel everything is going
Como lo veo en español?
Wouldn't it be more efficient to bring the PV 500v onto the inverter's DC bus ? Rather than converting it to 48v and back again ?
It would. But you still need the 48VDC to 240/120VAC conversion aspect in the inverter for when there is no solar production (nightime).

Well of course but if there is sun and a load you wouldn't be stepping it down and back up again, all other conditions would remain the same.
@@JohnSmith-lv8xk Yes, I agree. But the Schneider concept is very modular and supports various setups - so there is some inefficiency and redundancy to support that. For example, the inverter can be used without solar at all and only for battery backup - hence the need to have the step-up (and no need at all for solar DC in that case). But, because of that flexibility, you end up with needing two things to charge the battery - both the charge controller (from solar) and the hybrid inverter (from grid). A compromise they chose for the system flexibility. Some definite design optimization could have been done if supporting only specific use-cases.
Well the inverter does not have a 500 V DC bus!
What is charge controller price
Hi Parveen, Could you please fill out this form so that our sales agent could assist you? solar.schneider-electric.com/purchase-products/
The cost of this controller is not worth investing in it. I would better buy solar panels equal to it's power rating complete with a pwm charge controller.
What happened to cost benefit analysis ? The cost per watt of pv from china isn't worth investing in that controller.
Can the cheap inverters handle 600v input at high amps and are they UL listed to pass inspections?
