The Supreme Court judges need to go out and walk the streets and pay attention to the criminals in the state!
Your idea of how it ought to be uses the 4th amendment as toilet paper. Fortunately, your dumbass opinions don't supercede the 10 laws that are the cornerstone of our entire society.
Free pass for criminals
Read the constitution. It protects everyone, not just the people you like jackass.
CALIFORNIA NEEDS TO VOTE SUPREME JUDGES OUT THESE PEOPLE ARE LETTING CRIMINALS WALK!
Requiring reasonable suspicion makes law abiding citizens less likely to have negative interactions with police. If they have a problem with that, too bad. They're not the Gestapo and this philosophy that you're either a cop or a bad guy needs to stop. It is hoped that this will be a step in that direction. One of the rare times the state supreme court does it right.
YOU KNOW WHAT THAT CALLED CALIFORNIA CRAZY!
It will cut down on the lawsuits cities have to pay out for civil rights violations.
Those socialist Supreme Court Justices should go get an In-n-Out burger in Oakland, to see how their Soft-on-Crime Policies are playing out.
Obviously Karen af comment
in and out made a failed business decision. police are not private security for corporations. awful burgers as well.
The 4th Amendment protects all citizens, not just the white ones.
But there is criminal activity

Police engagement does not automatically mean criminal engagement. That's dumb.
Over policing ? Fine let them live with their gangster family.

S/o to that Public defender
Word up. You’re like the only non karen online
Never forget the average life expectancy of a cop is 60. Nothing says I made bad choices more than a short life.
suicidal alcholics
The police go where the crime is and the crime is in those communities. So how is that over policing. Just because you say it doesn't make it so. Some of us are not as stupid and ignorant as you would like for us to be so as to believe anything that comes from the most overturned courts in the land. Hard to believe anybody would work in that profession in a Democrat run city or state where the criminals are in charge.
Not really.
Cops play judge jury and executioner in "those neighborhoods" and it still doesnt fix anything. If prison actually solved crime, we'd have the safest communities in the world.
Obviously you're very ignorant.
@@mervyngreene6687 criminal advocate you are, thats all
California is dying 😢
Yeah... how DARE California honor the 4th amendment. Does it ever hurt? Being a traitor, I mean.
What a joke. California is done.
Omg
Obviously Karen af comment (yours)
Of course it makes the police job harder, that's exactly what constitutional rights are for. So we don't have cops doing whatever the hell they want.
"Constitutionally protected"?
I think we all know the "constitution dont mean squat anymore!
I think it important that people with color can do whatever they want cause their black, brown, cause you know if their trying to avoid police most likely they already done something wrong or they have drugs on them even belong to a gang because peopke with a clean slate don't try to run from police..THAT COMMON SENSE COLOR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RUNNING FROM POLICE!
California is lost to socialism
And the 4th amendment. You might want to read that one before you say anything else as dumb as this.
Apeal

This is not a bad ruling, we need good law enforcement that respect the rights of citizens, not road pirates and petty tyrants with fragile egos who are ignorant of the laws they enforce.
Really, the general public’s belligerent and disrespect(like your comments)towards the police is close to 90% of the problem. That and people breaking the law. But, No let’s blame the law enforcement completely instead. Dangerous game CA is playing with their pro criminal mentality.
Citizens or criminals? You become a criminal- you get treated like one
@@Vrie. Of course not criminals, citizens being bullied by ego driven petty tyrants. Remember, back the blue till it happens to you.
Requiring articulable observation for reasonable suspicion makes law abiding citizens less likely to have negative interactions with police. If they have a problem with that, too bad.
