    Thanks so much for your great video. Unfortunately, joining the two long pieces was not as easy as yours. After many attempts, I was finally able to get them together. It's so nice to find these videos when the included assembly instructions are not very user friendly.

      I don't know why so many companies make the instructions so difficult to follow. It doesn't make sense, but I am glad you found my video and it helped you out.

    • @DIYwithCam
      @DIYwithCam  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Glad I could help you out. This is a bump head so when you are using it, you just need to give the head a tap on the ground and more sting will come out. Tap it a few times and you will be on your way if it's really short to begin with.

    Replace the handle with a Darwin Grip and add a shoulder strap to it. Use it with a larger battery, either Ryobi 40v 8 ah or the newest 40v 12 ah battery. The larger battery will add some weight to it, but the shoulder strap will take it away. better to run it with fixed line, using .080 line, tie a knot at the middle of the line before inserting into the trimmer guides. This will prevent the line from slipping away. Finally, buy the latest Ryobi Hyper Charger and two batteries, either 8ah or 12 ah.... To prevent the line from braking when hitting hard objects, run the trimmer on low speed. This way the line will last forever and the trimmer battery will not overheat. If the battery overheats it will take much longer for it to cool down enough to start charging.

    I have a question the handle is movable?
    Because I set up mine and the handle don’t lock keep loose.
    That’s is normal?

    • @DIYwithCam
      @DIYwithCam  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Yes, that happens on mine. I mention this as a flaw in this video - czcams.com/video/rcXPTmJwKtQ/video.html

      Thank you to get back with answer to me so fast.
      One thing you said about being tall, I’m 5.4 and it is difficult for me to hold the weed eater.
      Other thing is so heavy, the balance is complicated.
      I subscribed your channel, then I can learn some things with you.

    How does the electricity get to the head?

    • @DIYwithCam
      @DIYwithCam  Před 4 měsíci +1

      There is a driver shaft that goes from the hea to the base. It's an identical set up to a gas model.

    • @DIYwithCam
      @DIYwithCam  Před 4 měsíci +1

      It's really difficult. You need to have even pressure and make sure it's not an angle or it won't lock in.
