    This is probably the most beautiful and timeless watch Rolex has ever released!

    I'm a middle class guy and can only afford to do this every once in a great, great while. That said, I purchased my first 'top of the line' watch (Omega, Rolex, etc.) six mos ago; I went with this exact model, the Rolex OP 39mm in black. Love it!

    • @svkwatches
      @svkwatches  Před 4 lety +3

      You clearly have great taste! It was an easy pick for me, somewhat reasonable price tag but a solid brand and design, the appreciation is an added bonus too!

      Very nice choice, you’re the demographic I wish made up the majority of rolex owners. More authentic to the original idea of the brand.

    @SgtHooch Před 4 lety +7

    Agree 100%. This is the Rolex for me. I never liked the Explorer with the 3-6-9 numerals. It definitely gave it a less classic look to me. I really don’t like numerals on any watch, except an aviator’s watch. The black dial OP 39mm is simply divine. I don’t know how hard they are to get, but this is on my Must Have list. I dropped the 40mm Sub from my list last year as I no longer have the patience or willingness to pay thousands above MSRP. Given where retail is at RIGHT NOW I’m curious as to how difficult these are to obtain.

    Thanks for making me decide on whether I should purchase an OP 39. I was worried that it might be too small for my wrist, but I now know it won’t be. I’ve got to travel from the UK to Belgium to pick up the exact one I want (New) - with the Grape dial. I never thought about the loom on the 3, 6 and 9 markers until you said, and it did make me hesitate, but then, as they say, no watch is perfect. Ultimately, your vid has been very informative and engaging. 👍👏

    Up until now, I'm so jealous of this stunning piece. I always wanted this OP39 (Black) after watching your CZcams channel. Even after owning Submariner & Explorer but this piece is still the most beautiful Rolex I've seen and will never own it.

    Leonardo da Vinci said simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, that 39 in black is a great watch. Understated luxury, and I much prefer the oyster clasp, to the divers safety clasp. Great choice

    I’ve got its white version. OP39 houses the latest Rolex technology except the longer hour reserve. I didn’t get the black one just because I was buying another one in sport model whose face is usually black. In other words, this OP39 black can be the one and only watch collection.

    A trick to hacking is to move the crown anti-clockwise before you pull it out completely. This will disengage the gears for a smooth action.

      @svkwatches  Před 4 lety +5

      Jeremy Diver I like the Explorer too, it’s just my opinion that without numerals on the dial this layout will stand the test of time better, most Rolex models are timeless in their own right.
