- Removing the paint and rust off this 1971 ford bronco prior to it being restored. This video gives a good look at a more difficult car to strip. I went into a little more detail on this video. I hope you all enjoy!

Love watching these , not sure why it’s so therapeutic 😂
I appreciate you watching! I’m glad you enjoy them!
Really enjoy watching your videos and the magic of taking these old shells back to a 'clean BIW' state. Perfect length as well with just the right amount of detail!
I like seeing the factory colour. I am fascinated by car restoration. I remember when these were new. They were used and abused. It's good to see one being restored
The nice thing about Bronco Metal is it’s all straight and easy to replace/weld. No crazy curves. And the metal panels are available almost everywhere.
I'd love to do that to my '69 Bronco. These videos are amazing to watch. One slight change I'd like to see is a switch to landscape orientation of the video. I think it would show off the results better.
Great videos man, really relaxing to watch and very satisfying to see the clean shells at the end
The transformation is really cool to watch. Thanks
Things to possibly add. Maybe total hours in each tank. Before and after close up shots of problem areas. Basic dip cost per project. Honestly there isn't much you could add.
Good bones for a 71 Bronco. That will make a great 4x4
I'm a recent subscriber thanks for your content and best wishes from Columbus Ohio USA 👍
I appreciate that thank you!
I've been chasing rust on my '65 Falcon since 2010. These kind of videos really are cool 😎. Well done, wouldn't change a thing how you do things :-)
I live in Brazil and I love doing these things too
Great video, I have a 69 bronco. First time I’ve seen a video of you power washing the underside
Males me happy to live in az. My 92 acura is rust free. They have a penchant for rusted rockers and quarters. Also the windshield frame.
Quality content …good job 👍🇨🇦
Please Dangle, show the second wash. I know it looks "similar" but the paint stripping is what I'm really here for.
Your videos are fun to watch. It's exciting to see all those years of rust, dirt, and paint peel off.
I wish there was someone like you near me. I've got a truck cab I want dipped and the nearest shop is 11 hours.
Hey buddy started in a garage when I was 10, 56 now licensed with my own repair facility in Canada. Love your videos, reminds me of the old days when we used to rebuild and fabricate a lot of shit. Today mechanics just change parts. Pictures of these cars when finished would be nice.
In some cases it might make the strip go faster if you or the customer went over the major surfaces of the painted panels with 80 on a DA sander just to break the surface and allow the chemical stripper to get into the paint faster and easier.
In my opinion tank stripping is the only way to start a proper full body restoration.
Amazing. I bet you could not do this to a newer car. All the plastic would eat away.lol. goodjob again.✌️
Plastic stand up to caustic substances pretty damned well though. They withstand caustic alkaline a tiny bit better than acid, but all in all withstand. The heat might be an issue though.
Looks like a simple truck to manufacture. Surprising how expensive they are. A box with running gear. But you sure got it clean
Nice Job
This is an amazing series of videos, I just started watching them a week ago, but find it more interesting than I thought I would. How often do you have to clean out the dip tanks to remove the contaminants, or change the fluids from being broken down from doing there job eating paint and rust? I notice there are no doors, hoods, etc being dipped, do some owners send the whole car to be cleaned before restoring?
I know you like to skip the final dip and power wash in the paint stripping stage but that’s the most satisfying one. Seeing all that tough undercoating or filler finally blasted away. you should show it. That’s kinda the whole reason a lot of us watch these. If people don’t want to see it they can skip it.
Wow I use too drive a bronco in the military
"just an old jeep!".........Alan Jackson
Queria ter dinheiro para montar uma firma dessas aqui no Brasil!
Would be nice to see the under-body being cleaned. Your pricing structure.
Other than that, good work!
PS....How many former employees have been dipped & neutralized?? haha
Very neat to watch. How do you now protect the bare metal now after the process? How long do you have before it starts getting surface rust?
Was that Jimmy Hoffa floating in the tank ? 😂
👍👍👍
Good to see what happens with the underside too
ever do a rough sand section vs untouched s we can see if roughing the surfaces helps stripper work?
Very nice, but what can we do with the tunels if we dont want to open it. Inside tunel has no more paint and thats a problem, after this. In Germany have a bath with paint after all this, and then you have protected bare metal inside the tunel
would an EDP priming be a better way to finish off as it may prevent flash rusting
Brother, I have always wondered about what safety precautions you take while working with the harsh chemicals and pretty potent acids?
I like the original baby blue
After the rust dip, if you don’t wash off does it stain the metal?
What temperature do you dip the frames at?
Hi,very interesting, can I why there are plastic balls in the alkaline tank?
What do you do about the rockers and other enclosed areas?
Do you have any footage when the employee fell in and was dissolved? You have to keep an eye on the FNG. I noticed some of the tanks appear to be heated, some not. Witch ones are?
Looks like the driver should have exited the Bronco before being submerged in the tank. 😂😂
Just curious, why aren’t the other body parts like fenders, hood and doors also dipped?
It's probably had all the Sheet Metal replaced once...LOL...
Wish you knew aspect ratios and the correct way to make a video/hold a phone as well as you did stripping paint 👍👍👍
How much does truck cab cost
What vehicle has been transported the furthest to get dipped by your shop?
The vertical video orientation is a little rough on the eyes, but the process sure is fun to watch.
All new videos will be landscape. Thank you
@@minute_of_dangle these old eyes thank you.
@@jackknife89actual I appreciate you watching! I’m glad you like the videos
@@minute_of_dangle it's enjoyable to see the process, even though I don't do any vehicle paint work. btw you mentioned PA, what part are you located in? I live in PA
😆😆👍👍👍👍👍👍!!!
Нормально .
👀
Could you please show any Chevrolet belair cars getting dipped?
Who's skeletons are those? OJ? Lol
Do you get many bees outside your doors?
Where are you located and how does one get in contact with you

I love watching you work chemically removing painton youtube. But we would like to see what you do behind the camera. Ex: fill the tanks clean the floors filter the tanks. I'm sure it's to much work as removing paint and rust. I would like to see what we don't see on youtube thank you
Knowing those truck as I do, I honestly thought the lift would come up empty....
Lol the ones I’ve done in the past I thought the same thing!
Lol, yes
Can you dip a jeep xj?
Yeah most likely

What is the chemical substance used for the first, second, and third dipping?
The first is paint remover ( caustic alkaline) the second is acid to remove rust. The third neutralizing solution to stop the caustic action of the first two so there is less of a chance of damage should some remain on the metal.
Hi, Where in PA are you at?
Hello, Nanty glo pa
Where's the chassis that it sits on?
Please try filming in landscape mode, i.e., rotate the phone 90 degrees. It's really hard to watch in portrait mode
That's not a Ford Bronco, it's a Ford Bondo! LOL
Great job!
Can you provide your business Name and contact. I have a 1967 fastback mustang id like dipped.
I live in Colorado and would like to possibly start my own company doing what you do. Can you send me to the company you buy your stripping liquid and acid so I can investigate the costs to start a company here in Northern Colorado. I need to see if this is even feasible with the environmental laws we have here Thanks
How come you don't throw them on a rotisserie?
Why rope to hook up
Like your videos but please turn the camera and do landscape instead of portrait
Can we have the vid in landscape, not Portrait as its easier to watch ?
Seriously, turn the f’ing camera sideways….🙄
Acid dips ....the perfect murder. Even bones are gone in a couple dips .....just sayin
