Obviously, there are a lot of sneakers to cover but one of the most interesting parts of his sneaker legacy was his free agency season. @@umz1828i can’t find the link for proof, but this is true. looking at the og 85 game worn pair, they have a cut slightly higher but similar to the 2001 cut of the jordan 1 mid.

Very cool video !The 2k4 was shown for pre orders to retail shops with the number 8 on the heal instead of the huarache H logo. Unfortunately the little scandal he was involved in back then made Nike dial back on their initial plans to market the 2k4 as the official Kobe shoe .
To me that is and always will be his first Nike sig everyone at my school had them and some of them had his name on the strap I think they were called laser edition

Great vid. Not the And 1s. Managed to get my hands on the Gold Toe Q's. That original version of Q's had that same insole that molded to your foot like the Grinch's. Today's Q's are uncomfortable since the hexalite is painted on the windows and not actually used.

Eric Avar designed the 2k4 and it was supposed to be Kobe's first signature shoe, but Colorado nixed that. Also, Ken Link designed the Kobe 1 and 2.

Does ANYONE know what those Nike’s he wore with the black rubber strap are called? He probably just wore them for a game. I had them in high school! I think they came in black and white and like an all black with red touch colour! They looked kinda like the Nike Air Max Chosen from 2002 but with a detachable black rubber strap. Very similar patter on the leather.
The strap said “AIR MAX” or “MAX AIR” and was just a rubber strap across the midfoot area.
He might’ve even wore them for a cover shoot.
