That’s how it’s been since Sounds of Madness released, and I find it funny that when I’m on the verge of a mental breakdown, these songs always get me to sing alone! (Off topic- I looked outside while writing this and there was just a random child trying to race my bus- .-.)
I adore how it cuts off right before finishing the final sentence. There's no more more lyrics to scroll, no more song to hear, the world has ended and it sure was

@@hockey1436 .....yes. That's my _point._ If you did not understand me, I recommend keeping a dictionary and thesaurus on hand and reference them often in order to elevate your reading comprehension. I suggest you start by looking up 'irony.'

Listened to it multiple times now. I agree. Several top songs but I think the catchiness and the lyrics/message together make this the best track on the album

I knew just by the title I was going to love this one. I will never get tired of the 1st to 3rd major hook (if indeed that is what it's called), same hook is used in the chorus of "Attention Attention" but they do it so damn well. On an unrelated note, I also couldn't help but think of Squall's halfassed line in FF8 when Selphie said the train was cool and he's just like "Sure is." Always thought that was funny. Ok I'ma shut up now.
To anyone who dislikes this one: a reminder that this is the same band who wrote State Of My Head

Very true but i dont like nor dislike it. The style change seems less rock and more pop rock-ish. They changed styles over the years sure but this stuff i dont prefer but thats just me!

This is a great song. Reminds me of Darkside from AA in that it's a unique, pop rock type sound. IMO the lyrics are absolutely fantastic, and sum up the last 2 1/2 years perfectly for myself. "We've had enough of all these pointless points of view" chef's kiss. Also love the sarcasm in the "sure is fun" line, or at least that's how I interpreted it. Can't wait to finish my 1st listen thru.

Started listening to Shinedown when Amarillys came out, and immediately they became my favorite band to hear with such a unique style not many can connect to.
Attention Attention initially was hard for me to accept, but after a while I was addicted to it and loved the transition and them being experimental yet true to their sound.
I had expected a lot from Planet Zero, and again initially it felt like something is missing but when it was fully released and I heard it track after track it blew my mind and I just LOVE this album. This is amazing what these guys are doing and so enjoyable to see them rising with creativeness and bringing out this album, which for me is nothing less than a masterpiece.

First comment I saw was about people not liking it. For me, I love it. And it's giving me "I'm not alright vibes" just in a different style. this is the one that will defo get stuck in my head

This album is like a mixture of all of their previous albums. Dysfunctional You is like ATTENTION ATTENTION, this is like Threats to Survival, S.O.V.A.I is like Amaryllis, Planet Zero is like Sound of Madness, Dead Don't Die is like Leave a Whisper. At least this is the vibe I get from all of their songs
