What a remarkable young man that is. Major respect to him, and to those who raised him.
Too bad this kid has no future with all the foreigners flooding his country.

After hurricane Maria hit the island I lost some of my banana trees. One night I heard e had small and green bananos. I left it close to my carport for several days. One night I heard huge noises an d shrieks. When I turned the flash light on there were hundred of bats eating the bananas. What a sight! Next morning the bananas were gone and my carport was full of guano. I smiled as I cleaned my car. These poor animals were so hungry.
I have a bat in my garden who teases my cat by flying infront of the window.
He comes everynight0
@@madiazrivera1958 God bless you for caring for the bats. They are so good for the environment. You are very caring.
@@matszweerts2092 Your bat friend sounds really nice.
Wish some people would learn to respect bats more, they are amazeing creatures.
I am still very surprised of the amazing nature. She creates everything just like that
When I was a child, I was afraid of bats. My father told me they are good and eat lots of mosquitoes and other insects. So I was no longer afraid. Now, as an adult, I am happy to see the bats flying on a summer night. They are so graceful and lovely to see.
@@lindaseel8633 when i see bats it makes me feel safe cause i know BATMAN is not far behind!
@@jumper55ful I see lots of Robins here too. đ
I've never seen one myself, but I know sometimes people around my state put up Bat Houses to provide shelter for many of the bats during the day and they swarm out at night to hunt mosquitoes.
Lovely little critters
It's wonderful that they involved the teenager who rescued Barnabe in his release...such kind women in every way.
A man stands tallest when he's stooping down to help a smaller creature. Bravo, my guy.
Bats are so misunderstood. They are fascinating creatures, and vital to any ecosystem. I love bats!
This made me emotional because I recently rescued a bat myself. That process taught me a deeper respect for these cute little critters.

Honestly, this probably changed the entire trajectory of Pierrickâs life. I imagine heâll care deeply about animal advocacy the rest of his days. Itâs really beautiful to see.
This is the most precious thing I've seen. I rescued a baby bat once. Shielded it from the elements and human traffic until night fell and it could leave. I was grateful for the experience.
Oh boy he is tiny but ever so cute.
Awww bats are such majestic creatures and very cute, especially this beautyđ¶đ±đ»đŠđŻ
Especially love flying fox bats. Incredible creature!
My husband used to work on an oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico. Occasionally, bats would end up stranded after getting caught in storms and wind currents, so my husband would catch them, put them in a box for warmth and safety. He'd catch insects for them to eat until he could bring them home and release them in the woods behind our house. Adorable and surprisingly soft.
When I was about Pierrickâs age I found a bat outside my school in Yonkers. I didnât know if it had a broken wing or what as it was just lying there and making angry noises. This was in the days of pay phones. I tried to get information to connect me with the wildlife rehabilitator, but the ones I spoke to would not take the bat. I didnât know what to do.I had to go back to school but Iâve always felt bad about that bat especially now that I think it mightâve been a baby and thatâs why it was grounded. I just hope the mother somehow found it and got it back home. Well done, Pierrick in finding the right people to take care of a little bat!
I have seen a video where a mother bat came and scooped up her baby after it was found on the ground by rescuers. So stay positive and believe that's what happened to the one you found as well. That's all you can do. đđ
at least you tried. it's the thought that counts
My lord, Iâm so happy this batâs okay đ I love bats!
Fabulous!! God bless that boy and all the veterinary staff who saved the bat. Wonderful!!
Her voice is so full of wonder and kindness, I actually began tearing up listening to her talking to the little bat. Such a beautiful video.
I love it when people speak softly in french! It's so relaxing! Same with Spanish
There's no other language than French for its mellifluence. It's simply unable to have any hard edges to it.Robert, UK.
@@2eleven48 I can assure you that some French accents have some rough edges XD But you're mostly right !
Even though it's just 1 little bat and it's almost nothing to the universe, the universe is very grateful for what you have done.... It might seem trivial or unimportant but that little gesture of kindness meant the world to him and to me. I might never see that bat or these people but its the same for the little animals I help where I live.... We'll probably never meet but I feel like I already know them. We may never do anything big in life like acting or be insanely rich but those random animals/people we help along the way will remember us forever and that's somehow more rewarding to me.... Thank you for helping the little bat and thank you for making me smile. đ
Congratulations, son. You and the medical team are heros and so is Barnabe', of course!
Absolutely wonderful! Thank you for finding and saving this little creature. God bless all of you!
The MegaBatty in Australia rescues and rehabilitate bats, she's wonderful. Fly little bat, the sky is yours đŠđ„°đŠ

Cute little fluff ball. The tiny feet are adorable.
That's so cool that he saved the little guy and that there was somewhere he could go to rehabilitate. Bats are amazing animals that unfortunately are usually disregarded by society.

I hope this kid gets into animal care in some way because he has such a perfect, calm, collected demeanor when he's around the lil baby bat. he just seems to have a genuine respect for the bat's life
We may not always see it but every creature is important to our ecosystem!
His parents taught him well. Finding & saving this little bat will stick with him for the rest of life. I know his parents are proud!

Such a baby ! Also bravo to the people who raised him!!!!
Bats are so awesome and very cute IMO
do Robin Seplu hes so kind to kittens! he saves them all the time!
Iâve always thought bats were the cutest creatures even though they sometimes get a bad rep. BarnabĂ© is adorable and Iâm so happy he was found by such a compassionate human!
She made it seem so easy to hold them. Everytime one becomes trapped in my house, I just open a window and ask them to leave.
Once, another bat flew in to join the first bat. I left the light on and waited them out. They eventually flew outside. I wish I was informed enough to hold one. I really mean brave enough . I always squirm at the thought
I love bats and the cute sound they make what a lovely young man who helped save this tiny beautiful creature and a great experience to release a bat BRILLIANT
I hope this young man goes into the sciences. Heâs got the knack!
Or the HUMANITIES!!!! a great soul!
I saved a bat a few years ago, from the side of the road (Brazil), and took it to my university, that had a wildlife center. It was in a pretty bad shape. When they managed to start the surgery, it died with the anesthetic. It had kite strings rolled in it's legs, so the vets told me that probably some mean kids found it and tried to use him as a kite, as he had several broken bones in the leg and wings. Later, his case study showed up in one of my classes (I was in biology).
I'm glad he died peacefully, and at the same time helped increase our knowledge. He was a bit bigger than my hand.
A young nightscape releasing bats...how cool!
I'm really glad that the wildlife rescue center kept the person who found the animal up to date and let him participate in the release! Many centers don't do that. Wonderful kid and wonderful vet for letting him release Barnabe!
Serious respect for Pierrick, I always have a lot of hope for humanity when a person shows respects for life like he did here.
Great idea to involve his rescuer in the bat's release.
Bats are cute
aww..... how does so much "cute" fit into such a tiny thing?
Pierrick is so cool, what a kind heart he has! Thank you for rescuing this little bat. â„ïž
Crying happy tears of joy for the little bat flying free!! Same bat-time, same bat-channel!

Warms my heart to see a teenager with so much compassion. I found very young injured bat not long ago. I took him to a place to rehab him. He made it and was released.
Pierrick did a great job finding that baby bat and acknowledging it. I probably might not have recognized it was alive and in need of rescue. Kudos to him and his caretakers.
