  • Fishing After Work - COCKTAIL BLUEFISH - Popping Long Island Surf for Tailor Blues - Was I tired, but excitement always Trumps tired, and the salty air, wind, rain, and cold water. Better then coffee or whatever else you may. Good solid after work outing for some bluefish. had a few lost a few with some good tidings always between. Tired now but I like making videos. I think that's the secret to anything. Not "I like that," but like that, sea.

Hi Jerry, They were nice size Blues. The Blues down here don't grow as big. They still give a good fight. Have fun and good luck, Mickey

They were great eating size for dinner with a boatload of beer, and fun to catch!

👌 nice work. I am living life through your videos at the moment..a baby at home and dont want to risk a divorce just yet by going fishing.

Thanks! I always found such conundrums an interesting paradox. Time, dedication, and love tends to be fluid. Your moment is right. Makes when you go all the more sweet. Your baby will be taking you fishing one day!

Yes that is a beautiful way of putting it. I am not complaining. Love watching my kids growing!

Nice reel, a 1600c? Those old Daiwas really dont give up much performance to a modern reel. Skirted spool, multi disk drag stack, line roller that actually works, relatively high gear ratio, hand closable bail free of any tangly appendages... pretty advanced stuff for the 70's!

Thanks, pretty close 2600C, you are spot on and I do have to add!!! One thing I love most is the drag stack is completely sealed so no sand will ever get in, well close to never as close to never sand gets to getting in things. Awesome roller for an older reel as well, I tested braid on it and worked great and has a bail bumper!!!

That is so true, I know someone who had her toes nearly bit off because she was not wearing shoes on the sand, nasty scar but the toes are now ok luckily.
