Multiple 50 pound bass, endless monster bluefish, world record white perch, giant shark, oh lord the massive pickerel, trophy fluke, the most huge bigmouths one will ever see if they lucky in 5 lifetimes, cobia in 2 counties, smallmouth that make bigmouth look like smallmouth, volume of catfish that will fill a city dumpster, triggerfish like ocean sunfish, yellow perch that may well be walleye, massive carp, crappie bigger then bass, any and all on fly, casting, spinning, ul to heavy, winter, spring, summer and fall. Bait, feathers, plastic, metal and hair, and of course all land based and a five dollar budget. All while using only Grandpa's tackle! Geez, I almost forget, 4 of the most glorious herrings in the past 500 days and I leave out more then I say! Year after year, season after season. No match, young or old, salty or sweet, and I don't even try, y'all know me!

Epoxy Minnow & Gulp Fluke - SHRIMP & COCKTAIL SAUCE - Top Water Dusk Bluefish. Fluke on the epoxy and bluefish on the Gulp bait. Your just going to have to take my word on that and I don't really care if you do or don't. Started with the shrimp, had the Hi-Lo in mind whole time, but went to the Sting Silver for a slew of fluke and bluefish. Dusk came with a beautiful sunset and did some popping into the dark for some more bluefish on the topwater baits. Had a larger popper but would have culled more going small.

The european perch has a higher side and gets bigger, but I havent tried this way of fishing. So next time, I am on the lake, i will give it a try!
In some waters in England and mainland Europe, European perch can get stunted too like American Yellow Perch. Both perch are good eating.

After messing with the small detent, i found that I needed to rotate it the opposite direction to get the clicker for drag to work when converting to LHW. thanks for the video, saved me from having to buy another reel

I haven’t seen porgy this year, I been from crossbay bridge to pier 10 than green island than captree, nothing so far only flukes just got some baby blues few days ago at captree but they also seem to be gone now, I’m waiting for the striper and big blues

Funny you mention, I got into it with Berkley, well Pure Fishing. We settled on figures and I made a comment about the name of their mother company. Something like how it should be something more like pure profits. Everyone at the table gave me the evil stink eye. I just said "It's true," left the pen on the table, turned around, walked to the door, spun around, yelled out "BURNT!!!" and went fishing. I will still use the stuff, it is good stuff!

10 foot works great, anything 8-11 foot 2-6oz will get it done, get what you like and feels best to you, works great with a baitcaster
