Almost every time I have seen one of these things, the scammers say they are Pakistani, not Indian...so I'm not sure what is going on, or who is to blame,
but as I said, they almost exclusively say they are Pakistani, and they are working in India, or Pakistan.
Maybe the Indian people are lying about that, so the Pakistani's get the blame?

Someone Indian called my mom and said he needs money for her cars insurance.. I told my mom not to give them money, she was about to..thing is that he really was from the insurance place. It's not smart to hire an Indian for phone call assistance. I don't mean to be rude. It's just that people will think everything is a scam.

People get sick of the life they’ve had and learn that empathy doesn’t get them anywhere because no one is willing to help them. They start seeing that success is only won through heartlessness so they become like that and then the cycle perpetuates itself.

That's why Kit has a soundboard -- people used to be able to say, "I can't talk when I'm driving, but I'll call you when I get to the store" . . . and then just leave the phone off the hook and go see a movie or something. Sometimes the scammer would wait hours!

These types of scammers nearly gave my 72 year old mother a heart attack. She literally called me from her other line in a panic. I had to curse at her to break through the panic calm her down. I was 41 at the time, and had only cursed at her once before when I was an emotional teenager. I got her to hang up, and then I drove to her home to help her calm down.

I educated my Mom on these scams over 10 years ago, different version but similar. She has no doubts now as to what constitutes these scams, shuts them down immediately.

When he started using syskey and deleting the C drive and kept trying to mess the virtualmachine up AFTER Kit said it was a virtual machine, it was like a guy attacking someone with nunchucks and whacking himself in the face with them.

I love it how as soon as every single freaking scammer realizes that they were caught they try to change your passwords and/or delete your "computer". How utterly petty and pathetic.
look at this perspective, you have graduated out of college with money put by your parents pension fund. You start looking for a job and realize that now the burden of taking care of you and your family rests on you. You apply and get interviewed for a "legitimate" job in the papers and land up with this. You are given 100 dollars a month and told that you can make an additional 50 per sale. the average cost of living is around 350 dollars per month. Meanwhile the real scammers ,Banks, have made you take huge loans . you are at crossroads here , you need to scam at least 3-4 people a month to make ends meet. at first you don't want to do it , but then you think of all the people depending on you , then you sell your soul. IF you are a person of morals and principles then you decide that you need to complain to the authorities and you soon realize that these centers are run by the mafia and the police and government are involved. But on saying this I must say that the people who sit at the computer and scam are equally to blame as well , because they do know that they are cheating and looting innocent people but they normalize and internalize it , some even enjoy it. I had stepped into this world 8 years ago when I was struggling , both my parents were suffering from cancer , however I realized on day one that I would not sell my soul. the price I had to pay was my dad's demise without the ability of me able to send him to hospital but he was happy that I did not sell my soul. My mom lived on for a few more years but I was able to give her some comforts because I had studied , struggled and was able to get a better job. however the job I have now I realize that it too is kind of a scam. projects from oversees being send to software development teams here coz we get it done for cheaper even though I work for a multinational. the problem is at the end of the day is the divide between the hav's and have not't this will always encourage scams , it has been practiced from time immemorial .

I can’t believe how easy theses crooks can fool people and grab their money.
These scammers frustrate me with how incompetent they are, and yet they have the balls to get upset at someone else for being incompetent.They can barely give instructions and they want to pick targets who can barely do things to begin with.
What amazes me the most is that they haven't really changed in the past 10 years that they've been doing this. Sure they've come up with new schemes/stories, but they still get played so easily and seem to have difficulties understanding what a VM is and/or detecting VMs.

My grandmother almost fell for one of these scams one time but I walked in while it was happening. Basically as soon as he heard me talking he just hung up and called her back a couple of days later. Sad thing is when she told the scammer that her grandson had fixed her computer and didn't need his help the scammer went from nice to mean very quickly, started cursing at her and saying horrible things.

You can hide the fact that it’s a virtual machine pretty well if you take the time to make it stealthy. I think destroying their confidence by telling them that everything they think they know and try to do is incorrect and won’t work is just as effective. These bastards don’t deserve to think they “won”. Record the evidence, destroy their confidence, and report it and move to the next. Maybe they’ll have such low confidence that they’ll get too frustrated to even try to scam anymore.

i work at a call center and i always get customers who'll refuse to speak to anyone with an accent. "go get me an american!!!!"

I always chat with them when i notice the accent. I ask them how stressful it is having a thick accent in tech support and it gives them a moment to vent. It must be almost impossible to be Indian and truly work for phone support.
I have an accent & i would never in my life try to scam nor steal from anyone. If you know its legit, then what's the issue? They got employed for a reason...

I've watched a lot of the other people doing this sort of thing, but Kit is by far the best. He wastes their time. He stops the scam. And, he's the best entertainment.

If this dude can even just get through to 1 person, that would be lots of ppl that won't get scammed. Other sites do this for straight humor, and I applaud them cuz even wasting their time saves other ppl, but I really like how you try connecting with these ppl in the end. I've watched numerous new videos and old videos and I don't know how the continuous contact with these people hasn't embittered Kit. He has a better soul than me. He talks to them with a politeness and respect that I couldn't possibly muster up. I admire him for that.
