Basically it's a simulated computer running inside your actual computer. If you do it right, there's no vulnerabilities or crossover between the two, so they're both closed systems that the scammer can't access across.

Anton.d09 maybe to an American their English isn't perfect, but they do speak and understand it pretty well. Most Americans don't even know any second language and rely on English wherever they travel to, whereas anyone travelling to the US can switch to English, so I think it's not quite right to say he doesn't speak it well.
However, he's SOOOOOO focused on his dumb script, that he fails to have an actual conversation with the 'customer'. I really don't know how these scamming organisations work, but I think even they are under a lot of pressure and have to scam a few people to not get in trouble. Their entire operation is messed up anyways and it's funny how they assume they're always talking to a dumber person, while the way they scam people is pretty basic and dumb itself.
