In the beginning when the scammer was singing, he seems so friendly and down to earth.. that you almost forget how disgustingly evil and heartless these people are ;(

These guys all yell and scream because it is them reflecting how they really feel about their own life choices. They all have short fuses because they cant stand what they have done with their lives. You find the occasional one who is a sociopath. Its a crazy thing. Not saying they aren't bad people, but I pity these losers.
Actually they are not evils they have to work for bad person and they are doing that for a living… I’m sure that you could be friend with scammer if you meet him in a bar and not on internet :)

I used to work in a tech support call center. Kitboga perfectly replicates the bored older customers who are ignored by their families and just want to talk to someone. About anything. And everything. Forever.

I'm embarrassed to say I fell for a puppy scam when I was 19. Thankfully, the nice lady at the Western Union realized it was a scam and stopped me.

tbh, I feel like this is a very easy scam to fall for. I know people who have bought puppies out of state successfully. So, its not super far fetched. Thank god she stopped you. I guess this scam makes it even better to adopt, not shop. Being able to actually go see the puppy (and especially make sure their personality is right for you) is so much better. I hope you were able to get the dog you wanted at some point!

I died when you asked for a refurbished dog lmfao keep doing the great work wasting these guys time and stopping someone else from getting scammed.
I lost it when he asked what they feed them and the guy said "fried chicken, food, dog food...they eat what we eat". 😲🤣 then he asks if he gets it from KFC. 🤣 I love his videos.
Refurbished means a dog which has been built from repaired or spare parts and then tested to make sure it works, and it doesn't come in the original packaging?

I was buying gift cards for family and my local grocery store had a sign up that said "Please be aware people are being scammed with gift card purchases. If you have been asked over the phone to purchase one it's most likely a scam" and I appreciate it very much. Gift cards should be kept behind the counter since tampering has also been a problem. Yes! And CVS even asked me if I was buying for someone I met over the phone.
Anyone asking for payment via gift cards is ALWAYS a scammer as that is never a legitimate payment method.
Ours added a screen you have to read and click through before you can sign the signature pad with warnings about these scams. It seems to only pop up if you are buying $100+ on a card. I was surprised and super happy to see a big red warning screen when buying xmas gifts.

This is the equivalent of selling drugs in America and other countries where people who fall on hard times do so. I do think there are genuinely good people who scam who feel they have no other option. Just like selling drugs is frowned on even in desperation so are the scammers. Even if you are just trying to provide for you and your family it's a crime. I see some pauses and demeanor changes are their moralities taking hold that ultimately lose out to the desperation of surviving. I do to clarify think the majority of these people are extremely bad people who don't care who they hurt.

I lost my Peanut right before Thanksgiving. I understand how hard it is. I was getting out gift bags from last year to wrap presents and seeing a few bags with tags that said to Peanut, love mommy, was heartbreaking. All I could do was cry. But I also think of all the wonderful and silly things he did and it makes me smile. I'm sure your cat felt like the luckiest kitty in the whole world to have your love. I hope you're able to remember all the good times, smile and enjoy this holiday season!

yeah the "Amazon" regarding the $999 purchases have been completely on point this week (they have been relentless 3 days straight)....Haven't had this much fun with these turds since the social security office was given the authority to arrest people "thing".

These people tried to steal from my elderly parents claiming to be social security. My dad called me in a panic saying that he was going to be arrested. It took alot of time to convince him that the call was a scam and not to worry. Poor guy was really worried. Would love to meet one of these dirty little weasels in a dark alley!!

my mom thought the FBI was going to arrest her 🙁 I had stopped in on my way to work & tried to explain it to her but it was a mess because I didn't have enough time. Thankfully I have a cousin who is a technician & she called him & he helped her with it. It's disgusting what they do.

Just playing around with these scammers myself…I’ve noticed it hurts their pride when you let them know the jig is up. They get so offended. THE NERVE!
My first ever job was scamming elderly people when I was 17. I wasn’t fully tuned in to how evil my employer was and the extent of the damage I was causing lives. I’m so grateful for people like you taking these assholes down and I have to live with my guilt. All you can do is heal and grow, accept when I’m wrong and be a better person.
They didn’t know you where taking a list and checking it twice, love watching you waste their time, so people don’t get scammed during Christmas.

Hi Kit - you prob won’t see this but I’ve been watching your videos since the beginning of COVID. It’s been a really rough almost 2 years now with a lot of ups and downs, but your videos have always been a source of laughter and comfort. I was just at CVS at the self checkout and a lady was on the phone asking if she should get the $500 gift card to the person on the other end - I eavesdropped and had a feeling it was a scam so I asked her and she initially said no and that she was fine. I couldn’t shake that feeling so I went to go find an employee and on my way out the lady stopped me to ask why I had asked her if it was a scam. She said Apple owed her money and they were trying to get it onto her account through the gift card - the employee had caught up to us and said Apple would never call directly for that kind of stuff and ask for a gift card. In short, she didn’t buy the card and was saved from at losing at least $500, maybe it would’ve been more down the line. I’ve always watched your videos for fun, but I never imagined I would have the knowledge to step in like that. Thank you, Kit.

Or, when they tell you to write down the previous balance, just tell then the previous balance was such that the "intended" transfer equates to the "oops" total.

Idea: Keep BSing with the scammer using the granny's voice. When they are asking for the giftcard numbers, 2 native Indian speakers will speak in the background (in Indian language): "Sir, we've located the call center's street address. We may stop the distraction call." "Good! Commencing raid immediately."
The dialog should be reviewed and performed by whoever familiar with Indian Police jargons, make the scammer believe he is actually getting fished by the Indian Police. Since the native Indian voice doesn't require interaction, using recorded voice should work.
And we may see the scammers freak out and even evacuate the call center lol
This would be incredible. You could just use a recording. Indian citizens hate these scammers as much as their foreign victims, I'm sure he could find someone willing to record something!

Whenever I receive a call purporting to be from HMRC or Microsoft, I just ask the caller if their parents know that they defraud people for a living. They always hang up at that point.

I love to see what happens when you only have a checking account and no savings account. I want to see what they do.
then they make a fake transfer by editing the html and "sending you a refund" from "their account" instead of doing an actual transfer between your accounts. then the scam plays out the same way where they "accidentally sent too much money and will lose their job" and you have to pay back the difference in giftcards

This is basically a real life version of the Grinch, except the Grinch tries to steal Christmas but an old lady keeps getting in his way and talking his ears off. In the end, he’s driven absolutely insane and gives up.
