We meet two scammers that try so hard to be friendly to "granny" just so they can scam us. They'll even sing songs! Check out the twitch live stream: goo.gl/uhpWGT

That's why older people fall for it. Someone who is nice to them is something that older people crave and they know that. The nicer they are the more likely the older people fall for the scam. Sadly.
Based on what I've seen about this before, it's likely that the first person on the phone doesn't even know she's working for a scam company, since all she's trained to do is establish the remote connection and "diagnosis" the "hacker" status.
@@gregrothwell5183 if they're that high up, and as intelligent as this girl, then they know what is going on.. Co-workers talk and word gets out even if they're naive when they first get hired..

Each call provides a mirror to the scammers. Like a knock on the door inside their heads where integrity and self-respect are closeted. There are good people inside each one of the scammers. events like those on this channel help that voice of their own humanity whisper to the greedy voices presently in charge.
Eeeeeeeeellllllll! 's like a RAISIN Milkshake! Or Asparagus pie!.....Ugh! ....Black liqourice Yogurt!..............Pickle toothpaste!....Hot sauce and bacon bubblegum.
I am truly impressed by Your ability to keep seeing the best in these people, and wanting to open their eyes to the damage they do, in a careful and lovely way! Rather than attacking them with blind Rage and Sharp words. You're always appealing to the humanity of these People and that is why we love and support your Videos.
So sad that lady went as far as singing a song to granny! They will stop at nothing. I am inspired by your technical talent. Keep doing what you do and other's should also and just maybe it will bring it all to an end. We live in a crazy world where there are call centers setup just to scam people. God help us!
Scammers may make money per successful scam, so there is far more incentive to do well than a normal call centre who are paid a flat rate. Some hacked scammer computers show the top of the chain earning over $20,000 .. in what is likely around a month (for 170 calls, probably the number of successful ones). That amounts to nearly quarter of a million dollar a year. On average for one call centre the majority seemed to be making slightly lower, around $70 per call. There are scammer facebook groups (on there for a few years) with users sharing or selling 'customer' data and sharing new tools to scam users. They are probably also acquiring the details of thousands of public users on there that post private and business details. Not to mention photographs etc for whatever purposes. A current trend over the last couple of years is to phone you with what seems to be a local number, as you are more likely to pick up the phone that way
Some of the call centres advertise online for staff just like any other, with no mention of anything suspect. So anyone after work if non-local wouldn't likely know what the full gig was all about until they finally got the job. If the money is good and you aren't exactly doing well financially, for many there will be even less reason to question it, but simply follow orders. So many won't think about the impact on people's lives, and when you are calling people every single day to scam, I suppose you would become conditioned not to care. Noting the video above and social media, I just find it amusing that there are groups with scammers, openly reporting on the public scamming them back. It is obvious that the country they are in has rather lax laws on internet fraud, at least when it comes to targeting the public abroad
Jaydens Treasures Its sad because she probably has a family to support and she isn’t making that much money anyway. We should blame the websites which actually condone such popups. Ee should go after the cause instead of the problem.
Bottom line they are thieves and they know perfectly well what they are doing. Do not get sucked into their niceness. Remember their niceness is just a tool for them to get that money. Keep up the good work!
Not always, especially if shes a new recruit. Some ads camouflage their business as legit, and many dont know until they actually start the job, and either leave that day, or keep the job if the pay is something they r e a l l y need
All vaseline is edible. The creator of vaseline used to eat a spoonful every day. Seriously, dude was a weirdo but he lived a while and always said it was bc he ate vaseline lol.
@@blazeron12 No, not nowadays. The ORIGINAL Vaseline is edible, but now there are lots of scented versions that aren't safe to eat. If you get the original, unscented, BRAND NAME (not generic) it can even be a good laxative for dogs, BUT of course always ask your vet first. And ALWAYS hide the jar, because they'll eat it if they can, and a whole jar is dangerous. But dogs and cats love the flavor of the original (usually).
I started watching because I recieved a scam call claiming to be from social security and im disabled on social security so it had me in tears even though I knew I didn't do anything but my youngest son and friend told me it was a scam and my son told me about these videos and as soon as I saw the 1st kitboga video I was hooked LOL, he's so funny especially granny and I watch everyday because theyre funny, entertaining and actually educational, im hooked lol thank u and God Bless!
omg I remember this call, one of my favorites ! It's too bad the lady wasn't actually interested in Edna's recipes and was just trying to scam her cause otherwise it was such a cute interaction. :(
Bob Leeroy I’ve read that a lot of scammers don’t choose this and they’re picked from poverty to do it. This lady sounds like she still has a soul left, hopefully she got out of that place.
Bob Leeroy I agree, they are still criminals. And I’d take my comment with a grain of salt because I haven’t looked into it myself, but rather saw another person comment it and thought I’d talk out of my ass as well.
My mom told me she got a call from the IRS saying she owes money, so she called back demanding to speak to someone in Spanish. I swear my mouth dropped, 26 years on this Earth and this is how she surprises me. Thank goodness for language barrier, and damn the dangers of moving out.
I was trying to watch these to fall asleep, but damn, this one just hurt. This girl seemed so incredibly nice, but she really did try all she could to get that money, faking interest so well.. I had really hoped, that by the end she might be coming around, might show any sign of remorse, but it was just the same soul-crushing defeat as always, just without the damper of it being an obvious idiot. No idea how these people are able to suppress the feeling that this is wrong, how they lack such basic empathy and I also have to say it's hard to imagine how Kit can actually go through with these. Half-way through I just felt so emotionally defeated, I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to keep playing the innocent granny.
Hi from Australia. Get a few calls everyday from scammers selling insurance, overseas trips, fixing computers, Australian Tax office and some more organisations. I don’t answer the calls from an unknown or private number and just block them from calling again. Thank you for your help in understanding these scammers a lot more and what they are capable of doing in the future. You are the best. Your videos really good. Keep them coming. 👍🏼
Also in Australia, I get far too many calls about solar panels but they're easy to get rid of when I tell them I'm renting and suggest they call my landlord. I did get scammed a few months ago when a fake microsoft help line spent ages on the phone trying to fix a problem (which presumably they'd created) but they hung up very quickly when I said I didn't have $100 to pay to have it fixed. A mate fixed it in about 1/4 of an hour for nothing, but the bastards did somehow get into my bank account and nearly cleaned it out: fortunately there wasn't much money in there and the bank gave it back to me about 10 days later. I'm wondering if banks in the usa do that too if your bank account has been scammed?
Jude Power Did get scammed if you call it that at McDonalds. Bought a burger or something and got scammed for over $700.00. The bank repaid after checking the scam out. Many people got scammed at the same store. Not sure how they did it. Anyway I try and be safe now. These videos do help and in a way we could be ready or aware what might come. All the best.
You know what is sad? Kit was really trying to give these scammers the benefit of the doubt, trying to find the good in them, saying they sound like nice people caught up in a scam and at the end of the day Michelle is human, but I just see it as they are sheep 🐑 in wolfs 🐺 clothing waiting for their next victim, just really sad. Kit is a good guy.
We'll Kit was there on the video "reformed scammer..." Where the scammer explained how a lot of people are stuck going into these jobs because in their culture they have to pay to get other jobs and most people don't have the money. There's a lot of perspective from several of these interactive that yes, shows us some of the crazies, but at the same time showed us the reality that there are a lot of them that may think this us there only option and they are stuck in it in desperation. I think that's why he's able to be so compassionate with them.
I had a job at one of these places in the UK, I lasted about four hours we had two hours where they told us what we were doing (ringing up business from the telephone directory to ask them for money to pay for the books they ordered for local schools) I made a few calls to people saying they had no clue what I was on about, this was about 14 years ago when I was very young in college break, I knew it was wrong but I was scared to leave so I did the most half assed job and then went for lunch and never came back. I suppose I'm privileged that I didn't need the job so I was able to do the right thing I can imagine someone being in a terrible position and having to do it just to get by Edit : the business never told me it wasn't legit, it just all came together and made sense as I put two and two together
It's all very sad and frustrating. It's too bad that they choose to ruin people's lives in the job that they have. Its disgusting and horrible. Thanks for making a difference and bringing to light what to look for with these scammers. God bless. Hugs.
Just discovered your channel. You're doing great work here - this DOES need more awareness... It's scary. I hope that "Michelle" may have a shred of decency in her to quit this job and I like to think her abrupt end to your call may have been her realising that what she is doing is immoral.
Pretend that you have big dog which jumped and knocked down laptop during call and disconnect internet (if you are using Virtual box there's option for that) to look like it's turned off because of fall. Then when you "turn it on" ask them if they see lines on screen
I hope you can do a call where granny wins the fake publishers clearing house 2.5 million prize. My grandma got scammed that way and I had to cancel all her bank accounts.
It would probably be best to stay in character / voice the whole time. You don’t want them to suspect grandmas. Most of the folks doing the scamming know exactly what they are doing - I doubt they have much of a conscience.
I started watching your videos a couple weeks ago with my three kids. Every video reveals more and more about your intentions. Sure they're funny, and they're also a type of way to feel like we're getting our point across as Americans that were not all a bunch of dumbasses. But the one thing, and especially with this video, I'm starting to see your heart in it. and I think that's what makes you greater than most of the people that do this, is that you always try to bring a bit of lesson to the people who might potentially not be fully in to the scam and unreachable. I am so proud of you as an artist on CZcams, trying to not only just make this something funny to watch and get the views and get the laughs, because you are severely hilarious, but it's also to try to save some people who could potentially still be savable. Thank you for all your posts and I hope you continue to do this as long as it might reach one or two people. you have a lovely big heart.
After spending maybe 2 or 3 hours with them, convince them to call back tomorrow. Thisll leave them hanging on a cliff only to find out its all been a bait.
I recently subscribed to you and it makes me so sad that they are willing to scam an old lady. Your videos make me laugh to begin with but by the end I am so sad and angry 😡. What you do hopefully is spreading awareness and one day these call centres will be shut down for good.
Odd that he said they were far from that. Elmer's Glue's main ingredient is casein, which comes from milk. Milk is allowable under brahmin dietary rules, so there's no wiolation there. Obviously, this cretin doesn't understand - it ain't hooves, behbeh!
ahahah! "I won Cupcake Wars." Oh Kitboga, I am cracking up! lol! Kitboga, listening to you talk at the end of the video...you are a good and kind human being. I believe you saved a lot of people from these scammers. Thanks for all you do..and with humor to entertain us. :-)
Thank you for everything that you do, especially the older population. I appreciate it as I am an older lady, and rely on my children for help. You are doing a great service, not to mention the entertainment. I love the Granny ones!! 🤗
I know this is over 2 years old, I’ve seen a couple dozen of these but I’ve never seen you get so emotional like this... it’s made me like you and your vids sooo much more! Thanks for everything you do!
This video really struck me for some reason, and I’m so glad you brought up the emotional conflict that came with it. That’s exactly how I felt while listening. There’s probably a whole documentary series you could make about those issues, I would listen the heck out of that
It was kind of sad at the end how much this experience bothered you. It's really awesome that you put yourself through this for the good of everyone else. Thank you.
The nicer the scammer the more people they fool. I'm happy you wasted so much of her time because that SAVED someone's parent or grandparent from being scammed during that time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...thank you because that's 2 hours that she couldn't swindle someone else.
Been watching a lot of your videoes since discovering the channel a few days ago. And comparing them to other scambait-projects. You’re by far the most humane and decent activist in this field. Yeah, I sometimes feel sorry for some of the scammers too, guess quite a few of them feel they have to do what they do... The alternative can be poverty, prostitution or hazardous/back-breaking labor. The unemployment rate has doubled in one year, leaving more than 30 million to fight for survival. Still, scamming is either a sure way for them to ruin their self-image, or just another job if the person in question already lacks empathy. Either way - they need/deserve whatever coming to them. Not to mention the victims, thinking about them makes me as angry and sad as you. Keep up the good work, have a feeling you will have more and more success in the near future. Hope some of the major networks picks up on your public service and excellent comedic skills. You deserve a boost!
Being the kind and caring soul that you are it’s insanely hard to believe that people like this exist. The way you handle these scammers is honestly baffling. I would not be able to keep my composure the way you do. Most people never change but some might some day because of you, and even if they don’t, you’re getting justice for all of us. Love it man. Love you also
You're doing amazing work, brother. That you can put so much humor and genuine empathy into this content never ceases to amaze me. You deserve all of the good things coming your way.
Awesome on that 100k ... I just subbed like 4 days ago and have been binging 😂.. the granny one is the best but so are the other characters ! Keep it the great work
She had one of the sweetest dispositions right off the bat compared to some of them who are just confrontational right away.. congrats on 100k, keep on doing the good work
You’re amazing my friend. Thank you for all of your hard work and killer content! These scammers don’t stand a chance! This type of work is fundamentally necessary and SO entertaining! Keep it up!
You're a good person. The emotion and effort you attach to these efforts is really something special. More often than not, your videos make for a good laugh and maybe a little anger, but this one got me... thank you for what you do.
I listen to this while doing other things and sometimes I forget I'm not actually listening to a rambling grandma.
same, sometimes when he mentions knitting I get excited because I listen usually while I'm knitting
I listen while fapping
Blargherness me too!
LOL me too!!
Omg me too!!!

"from the market .... uh, I mean the restaurant"
definitely an American right there -_-
Kit, you are fantastic... but Edna... pure LEGEND!!!
I suppose I'm privileged that I didn't need the job so I was able to do the right thing I can imagine someone being in a terrible position and having to do it just to get by
Edit : the business never told me it wasn't legit, it just all came together and made sense as I put two and two together
Ouch, hope you're doing better now.
oh for sure this was just like ten years ago when I was on a break from college :D
I could just imagine how easy this would be to fall into :(
circlek They aren't being scammed, they know full well what they are doing. Its not possible to follow these scripts and not know that.
callum9999 yeah for sure once they started to do it and didn't leave they know full well but I think they got tricked into starting to do it
Based in UK? You could have contacted the inland revenue and they would have been shut down before the end of the day.
Congrats on 100k brother, well deserved. Thanks for all the laughs
it breaks my heart this girl was so sweet. she could truly be an asset to a legit company
Congrats on 100k man :)
M
"Oh, my!" Just you saying that, in that old lady voice...I just about wet my pants!
I have not clicked a video that fast in a long time! LOL... I love it when granny gives those damn scammers hell!
Marlena k8 yes me tooooooo
"Massachusetts? Oh my God!"
It would probably be best to stay in character / voice the whole time. You don’t want them to suspect grandmas. Most of the folks doing the scamming know exactly what they are doing - I doubt they have much of a conscience.
Grandma trolling again lol. Boom in the right track.
I cannot believe you got Her to sing - I love that you sing, but like.. you got HER to sing. Love it!
You're a freaking superhero. God bless you for caring about seniors!
Love watching Kitboga this guy deserves an Oscar.
No need to become angry or emotional, you are doing the right thing
“Michelle” is one evil siren. Using her beautiful voice, and adorable people skills to rip off old ladies. Shame on her.
"Did your family invent the Elmer glue?" XD
Odd that he said they were far from that. Elmer's Glue's main ingredient is casein, which comes from milk. Milk is allowable under brahmin dietary rules, so there's no wiolation there. Obviously, this cretin doesn't understand - it ain't hooves, behbeh!
Dude, you're my hero. I work in IT and I hate these scammers. I do the same thing to them when I have time. Keep going love the vids,,
what if kitboga is the character with a voice changer, and edna is just his actual form?
My husband is so impressed with you. He says you should get an award.
This scammer has the best English ive heard so far xD
all your moral conflicts and feelings are just adorable :)
Behind the scenes, the scammers speak to each other in code that involves "buttering up" the gullible victims.
Dude. They're sociopaths. By definition they lack empathy...
Thank you for all you do! These scammers are truly doing an injustice! I know several people who fall for this sh-t!
Congratulations on 100k. You are doing amazing work!.... And hilariously too!
This guy will be at 1,000,000 subscribers very soon.
Grats on 100k brothaman! Keep fighting the good fight and bringing awareness to this, in the most hilarious way possible.
I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts to help with my morning and afternoon commute... but your videos are making it more enjoyable. Thank you.
I know this is over 2 years old, I’ve seen a couple dozen of these but I’ve never seen you get so emotional like this... it’s made me like you and your vids sooo much more! Thanks for everything you do!
THANK YOU for being such a good person. It truly sets u apart from anyone else. Thank u.. Thank u..
100k! You are so incredibly entertaining, Great job Kit! 🤘🏿
This video really struck me for some reason, and I’m so glad you brought up the emotional conflict that came with it. That’s exactly how I felt while listening. There’s probably a whole documentary series you could make about those issues, I would listen the heck out of that
I’m glad I have so many of Kit’s videos to watch when I can’t sleep. Keep up the great work my dude 😊
When the slow zoom in happens, grab the popcorn, we are in for an Edna tale.
Thank you for making these videos. You’re awesome, man.
You deserve a boost!
dangit you made my alexa play music lol
umm he didnt?
umm he didnt, he said alexa play this and mine started playing it, but he didnt do it, ok then, reality isnt your thing is it?
Congrats on 100k, Kit! You're amazing. Keep up the good work!
Love you also
Congratulations Kitboga on 100K subs! Way to go bro!!!!
100k!. Pecan sandies for everyone.. They're really scrumptious! Congrats from Australia.
You're doing amazing work, brother. That you can put so much humor and genuine empathy into this content never ceases to amaze me. You deserve all of the good things coming your way.
Kotboga you are such a beautiful person hearing u almost cry over how much you care.... youre genuinely amazing
Damm her singing was epic , great duo granny Barbie and scammer Michelle singing .
Awesome on that 100k ... I just subbed like 4 days ago and have been binging 😂.. the granny one is the best but so are the other characters ! Keep it the great work
You are so awesome! I understand the emotions you feel, just tells me what a wonderful person you are and what you are doing.
She had one of the sweetest dispositions right off the bat compared to some of them who are just confrontational right away.. congrats on 100k, keep on doing the good work
damn, the scammer being so friendly makes me hate her even more
Kitboga you're a great actor. Love your videos! Subbed.
