What a fine, clearl thinking, sharp minded person. It was a real treat to listen to Mr Vijay Gokhale. Please get such level headed, experienced diplomats. Thank you for this episode.
I saw the photo of Mr. Vijay Gokhale on your OTC thumbnail, and I pressed the video instantly, and I'll have to say, I'm not disappointed. Such an informative and eloquent interview.
I was 10 year old in 1989 and just started looking at news papers. I still remember the news articles about Tiananmin square.
After the Off The Cuff episode with Shiv Shankar Menon sir, this is another gold standard.
We are blessed to hv their insight and experience, not to forget SG sir as well.
Thankyou @ThePrint team.
This is was an absolutely pleasant interview. Loved it.
Vijay Gokhale is one of India’s brilliant bureaucrat / diplomat .
Respected foreign office person .
All - Pune residents . Great city
Walk the talk (again )with Vijay Gokhale
Shiv Shankar Menon and Vijay Gokhale both interviews showcase their unparalleled depth and wisdom! Well done Print team!
its like a PhD candidate is defending the thesis. The examiners and audience ask questions, but the candidate knows his/her labour of love and will put all the balls beyond fence.
THANK YOU BOTH...!!!
Enriching discussion...!!!
Excellent discussion.
Amazing conversation
Mr Gokhale has vast experience in Foreign Ministry and spent years dealing with China
China being very complex and difficult country to deal with, Indian Government should appoint him and create a special folio to deal with China under Gokhale”s leadership and use his knowledge and expertise
Love them or Hate them, but we need to give CCP full marks for elevating millions of poor people out of poverty and making the country a strong global force.
We both countries have a huge population to feed. We both are developing countries. We are neighbours. Hope we can solve the differences and build a better future for our peoples.
What a wonderful episode of Off The Cuff :)
Absolutely amazing interview!
Just loved the United Nations of Corona Virus joke!
Very good content and the topic nicely covered.

Both of you look so similar! :-)
Learned man. Interesting conversation
Informative vedio. Thanks.
Loved it
Good one..nice book by gokhale..
What's most appreciative is the experience and knowledge of Anchor of the show about the issue concerned and humour in between makes the discussion great.
Feels like Gupta ji's speaking someone else's words from some time
Great episode anyway.
Shekhar Sir it was pleasure attending OffTheCuff.. it would be great if you please take on show questions from participants.
Hi Sara! Keep an eye out for our tweets before an OTC where we post a link for you to ask your questions!
@@ThePrintIndia Thank U also invite subscribers during discussion with DK Singh & Ilanomics
Mr Gokhale is very positive on india unlike the print
If you want to listen positives , then watch bjp's lapdog news chanel *Zee news*
Such a treat listening to Vijay Gokhale sir.. thanks The Print for this Off the cuff....
Sg sir, what can we learn from Chinese citizens , whose hard work and efforts have got their nation to 2nd most powerful nation on earth??
How important is public sentiments of india for China
Not discussing details of Doklam. What a professional!!
Please conduct Farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal interview... you should also listen to their views
But there’s also a powerful strain of nationalism and pride in China’s reemergence on the world stage, as well as concern about what the US really thinks about China - whether it truly wants to welcome China into the club of powerful countries or wants to hold it back.
please talk about recent issues in lakshadweep
see his episode
Seem like studying chirality again😅
Bro 😂😂😂
Briall
Brialltant dialogue
This interview appears to be highly edited. May be the words and sentences not suitable to Mr. Gupta's narrative have been edited out. Even the interview ended abruptly.
First view and subscribed
United Nation of covid virus 😂😂😂😊
Poi
Looks judwa brother 😬
When this is the worst time since WW2, why your lots of opinion makers like Yogendra Yadav are allowed to fan negatives at this time
China's Sting of Pearls encircled India, Modi govt failed on territorial waters too, India now helpless
How ridiculous to blame Modi alone - all this happened mostly during the 10 yrs of Manmohan Singh-
@@orangelays5084 What nonsense supporting the cruel man of our time?To me taking care of every Indian what it just enjoying PM chair? Modi dragged India to stone age days
Crackpot.
Modi gave impression to China that he has 56inch but within 2 years China knew it's 56mm
Rubbish - Modis India is standing up to China and still fighting back unlike the congress which gave away huge tracks of land to China and Rahul Gandhi who met the Chinese ambassador during the fighting and made treaties with the Chinese communist party
😂😂
Who dared the Chinese by building Roads and Bridges which match their level?
Its Modi 56"
Not Congress 😂😂
The Chinese are miffed precisely because Modi stood up to them and did not stop the construction of border infrastructure. A case may be made that the MEA needs to be much more proactive and actively build an alliance of democracies against China, say with regard to 5G, alternate supply chains for some products and suchlike, and that because the MEA is not doing so it is just torpid, but by no means is Modi himself cowering before China.
Dude .. take your political hate to The Wire. They will love you in that camp.
Hilarious 😂😂😂
